But................. I made a sig in CS2 its basically all in purple colors. but when I go to save it for web it comes out more blueish in color and the background I spent a lot of time on is not as bright as when I made it. its kinda faded 🙁 will saving it a special way fix that or will it just look like that no matter what I do?

I'd say when you compess the gif, it takes out all the nice pretty purple colors, leaving the more basic blue ones behind.Test: Crop the sig to a smaller area, save it under 256 colors, and see if you still loose your purples. If you don't, you know your issue.
Or better, don't save it as a GIF at all. Save it as a JPG.
The only time you need to save it as a GIF is if it's got transparencies in it or is animated.

I did save as jpeg and it does it. I also tried PNG and it does the same. I then tried saving it in a diffrent program(psp). it keep the color but the quailty was really poor. 🙁
