😆 most often...text sucks...I try to avoid it often.

What would people recomend for this sig i just made?

Some sort of interaction in front of the render.

Interaction? What do you mean by that? *blinks*

There is nothing really in fornt of the render.

The figure is just sitting in a field of mists....its not interacting at all with the sig. Its very...removed.

I'm just experimenting with brushes. First time using them truthfully.

Try blending the render into the background more. Take your eraser, and set it to a round soft brush (defaults), and put the opacity down to about 30% and just erase parts of the edge of the render to make it blend into the background more.

Or create another colored layer on top and erase into it to put some action in front of the render.

(its better than effing with your render)

I usually duplicate my render layer and hide one of them if I'm messing with it, so if I screw up too badly I can just delete it and still have a clean one.

any ideas for this one?

RED LINE BAD

RED LINE GONE

Red lines definitely not working.

I would suggest for the lines, to pick a color from the sig (or one that fits the color scheme), and lowering the opacity...maybe changing the blendmode too.

?

😛 yer it was ghastly

transverses?

Honestly folks, what's so wrong with my current sig?

I realize it's not A+ work, but I've had 3 people tell me that it's not up to snuff (or that it plain sucks).

Am I that rusty and naive? Or are those people wrong? Because I think it's halfways-decent.

...and yeah, Drizzt is a little fuzzy on the left. Best I could get it. 😬

I'd say..

Text (icon5), and Purple.

Some people don't appreciate it.

I'd say image quality is more of an issue than color. Even I've done purple sigs. icon5

Bah! I love purple.

😮

I had to stretch the bg some because I originally tried a transparency that didn't work well, and Drizzt is fuzzy. I guess that's most of it.

And maybe I thought the text was less intrusive than it actually is. But then again, Barker hates text almost universally ( 😛 ) so who knows...
