Nope, I just got two chainsaws from the clown...they're the best melee weapon there is.

You can kill an crap load of zombies in the maintence tunnel...just jump into a car, and start driving. Watch out for damage though because youll be stuck in the middle of thousands of zombies in the middle of the tunnel...so what I did was change vechicles whenever I saw one.

I was doing that last night. 👆

Fun. As. Hell.

So you like the game?

Shame, though: I think the demo sold the game short. I think a lot of people downloaded it, played it for fve minutes, and then deleted it.

It was pretty shitty, and its been known that shitty demo really hurts sales.

But I dont think it will for this game, word of mouth has been pretty successful.

One of my friends was playing the demo... and was sniping zombies with golf balls...

Don't ask me how, I just heard it over the phone.

I assume it's easy.

You can actually hawk an loogie at them.

Anybody have any tips for killing the clown guy with the chainsaws?

Ummm I just ran away whenever he threw knives at me or did any of his crazy chainsaw moves.

One key point for me was to shoot the balloons when you blew him up near his face...I think that took off alot of damage.

I either did that, or ran up to him with a sledgehammer and knocked his ass on the ground. He then goes through his whole throwing and balloon routine, which you thwart, then repeat hit and run. A lot like most bosses...

A sequel is on the way! 🙂

Hope to see some improvements with saving games.

Yeah, the saving game aspect should be considered, and the brain dead AI for the people you tried to save.....god, thats why I couldnt play more.

-_- that 'nam dude is so annoying.. I hit him in the head with a sledge hammer, and then he juggled me to death.. way too much priority for enemy attacks in this game

The time constraint is what really bugs me though.. you get such a nice sandbox to play in and you cant even enjoy it lol

aside from this I love how detailed the game world is, and the psychopaths are awesome

Yeah, your right. The sandbox mode is kinda of annoying with the time constraint. It does make sense though in the scheme of things.

My question would be, in the sequel, where the game be located?

I cant be in the mall again because that would be kinda of boring.

maybe you wake up in a fallout shelter thinking a bomb dropped?.. o_O

Hahaha.... or the zombie's are learning how to use a gun, and your stuck in a walled city.

or the city is filled with socially acceptable zombies

"Good day to you sir.."

"Ah, yes.. good day, good day" *eye falls out*

and you're the social outcast for being normal

Hahaha....maybe.

But, hopefully the dev team can do something to fix the issues with the first, and make the game still interesting to play. Dead Rising was fun to play largely on the fact that it was original, but I dont know....will the sequel be just as fun?

they have a survey at http://www.capcom.com/deadrisingsurvey/

I basically told them the rescue victim AI sucks, some of the weapons are pointless (like dishes, cd's etc), enemy attacks get too much priority over player attacks, save points are too "resident evil" where you gotta trek back all the way to that little couch / toilet on the prairie that you had just spent 10 minutes walking away from

I mean of course the good outweighs the bad indefinately.. but the 'bad' definately leave a dent in your proverbial car door of gaming

Oh definitly.

Your so right about the save points. That was probably the biggest pet peeve of mine, to the point it was really frustrating.

So is this game basically GTA: Dawn of the Dead?

Yeah, that's what makes it cool.
