the predators would shoot alot of alien ships out of the sky prior to landing, but if the aliens sent enough overlords over the predator homeworld, some empty some full then they could prolly buy time to drop off hydralisks, ultralisks, mutas, etc, not to mention they would be sending thier guardians in first to take out some of the anti air. Then the battle would be more fair

No the ones that got through would be sitting ducks to Gun emplacements Plasma casters and the rest of the heavy duty weaponry that the preds carry in war.
