I am sorry I am very sisitive about aliens It was the first movie I ever watched, it was better than the predator movie but I wont get in to that.
Actually I believe their numbers hurt them in this one. The Aliens are so bunched that one wide spread area attack would wipe a good portion of them off the planet especially since that is their primary tactics.
Preds would be in war time gear which can carry two heavy Plasma Caster which by the way can go for months without being need for recharge. They also have other weapons then the Plasma Caster. They have a hand held version which isn't quote as strong as the shoulder mounted one bt still packs a punch they also have a handheld weapon that fires like a shotgun where one shot equals a Naplam Bmb going off.
They also can drop their self destruct devices in the middle of the rushing Aliens before they ever get close to the main troops of Preds taking out many of them.
They will also take down alot of the ships before they ever get to the planet's surface.

No the aliens have stronger skin tougher than titanium the empresses could kill about 100 preds with plasma guns, just the way it is, a queen could beat king kong, the queens tails would slaghter most of the preds an empress controls every hive that is on a single planet and there not even the strongest type of xenomorph, the strongest xenomorph is a queen mother shown in the comic "Aliens female war" witch I own. The numbers would kill every pred including the legendary.
Aliens just win.
They always win, the movies are better to. An elder could not whipe out the marines in aliens 2. But aliens can, in the long run aliens win, no point in arguing.

Aliens hunt preds, maybe its the other way around somtimes win the odds are agenst the aliens but mostly aliens win beacuse of there hive structer, go aliens!
