no, this is:
know yourself, One of the greatest shames of a culture or person is to forget who they are and where they come.
many people walk away from the parent's history and knowledge just to fit in, in another culture.
Yet, others who have had their cultures, achievements and history stripped away from them against their will struggle to remember who they were and view the world they are forced to live as a prison.
to know one's past is to prepare for one's future and keep from repeating past mistakes.
to dislike a government is one thing to turn your back on your entire history is another.

I'll tell you what bro, you can live your life how you see fit, and I shall do the same. You know nothing about my "culture" you act as if I was raised in Korea, which is not even the case. You did not answer my question in asking if you've even been. I know all about Korean culture, and have even done things that is a major part of it. I.E. Martial arts. I choose not to acknowledge it as much because I don't believe in it as much. I believe I live my life according to my own standards and not so much the culture of what I am.
Those who have pride in their cultures are more than welcome to do so, in fact I respect such. But all I am asking is do not preach to me about history lessons, as I am very update in the history of this world. And to say learning about other cultures is disgraceful pretty much is just nonsense. The fact that you refuse to learn about other cultures and acknowledge them is disgraceful in itself. You can think your culture is the best, which is fine. I will think what I feel is the best. I've experienced many cultures from where I've traveled and who I've talked to over the years.
And as for disliking your government, if you don't like it then go to another country Marine, nobody is asking you to stay. I have risked my life with nothing but pride for my country and government and I have no regrets doing so.
