You can still end up pregnant. Happened to one of my great aunts about three or four times now. It's pretty dangerous when it happens, but it is possible.
Just trying to warn you a bit. If it's what you want, despite the risks, go for it. That's basically what I did with my surgery.

Oh definitely. It is something I'd probably consider having done by my 30s if I decided I definitely don't want children, but like you said there's still a chance of pregnancies.
