I was wrong, she's a Basset/Pit Bull mix. She has a beautiful brindled coat. If we were to keep her, one of the names we had lined up was Tigger.
We posted about her on all our communities Facebook pages and we were contacted by the owner's aunt. The real owner is overseas in the Navy right now and she's dog sitting. The dog is named Kitty. Once I found this out, I called her that name and she perked right up so I knew it was the real owner. The ladies other dog dug a hole by the fence and this one escaped.
She's a sweetheart though. Very playful, but gentle. Got along well with our dog and the kids. Smart too. Knows sit, lay down and shake.

Over 24 hours after the dog was returned to her owners, she showed up at our front door again. She was excited to see our dog Petey and our baby. We had to call the owners to come get her. They live over a mile away. They even said it sounds like she'd rather live with us.
She escaped from her harness and a rope tying her into the yard. She must be really determined.

lol that is sad yet hilarious, wonder what they did to the dog to make it run away? What did you feed her?
I'm "window shopping" homes in other cities and states.
Hope to move out of this shit hole of a town ASAP. They just closed down the last marina on our arm of the lake. We're a tourist town and this means we're going to be belly up soon.
Best shot right now is to move to Reno, NV. I would really like to move to Colorado or Oregon though.

I'm self-destructive, loathesome. I take something bad and I make it worse. So does my father, I take it from him. I get upset and I lash out with hatred. Also, like my mom, I have trouble with agressive behavior and emotional maturity. I'm alone though, so, that's what I get for who I am and the poor choices I always seem to make.
But I care, I am really upset that I can't act right, especially with people I care about the most.
