I do that all the time, usually most urgent ones are: eating, sleeping and toilet 😉

You should never mix any of these. /wordsofwisdom

I haven't said that all at once...

You're welcome 🙂

Where?

Your house?

Didn't need you to tell me that 😬

Got my MRI scheduled for Wednesday! w00t

Sounds better than a camera up the butt.

Good luck! I became claustrophobic in the small old MRI they tried to stuff me in. Haven't had one since, sadly.

I just ate 10 oreos, and now I feel bad about myself haermm

in MRI, "I" stands for IMAGING.... 😬
and it usually is small. And there usually are extra smaller tubes so there is less artifacts.

Yeah, I've had two of those relatively recently, and they're not that helpful for my type of Crohn's.

Thanks! I had one not too long ago, and they make them now so they are not closed off, which is nice.

What sort of artifacts? hmm

Artifacts of great power...that will spell certain doom for its wielders!!!

And they said MRI is useful in Crohn's disease? Hm.. that's interesting, could you provide list of sequences which they used?

Artifacts.. erm.. errors? extra signs? no idea, we use term artifacts. everything which looks as if there was patology, but it's just something machine added.

Artifacts are also used within the Sword and Sorcery sub-genre to describe items of great (and often ancient) power.

For instance, the One Ring in Lord of the Rings would be considered an artifact.

Marius was poking fun at that.

Oooh, I see. I got ya.

Not really. But it's my only option.

I used to have CT scans done to check on stuff, but I've had too many now.

CT scans, colonoscopy, endoscopy, MRI and exploratory surgery.

In CT you have option for virtual colonoscopy. and in MR as far as I'm concerned it's rather hard to get good quality scans of intenstines..
We only use it for monitoring/diagnosing rectum Ca.

srug

My problems are usually in my ileum (or what's left of it).

No idea, if MR gonna show much details, but maybe they have better machine 🙂

Have you tried that endocopic-pill-camera?

No! But I've always wondered why they haven't tried that.
