Excellent game so far, if only for tension.

I hope they can last it out without the diving and shit though. It should be a really good 30 minutes, I think Germany deserve it a bit more.

I'm very glad Germany won, hard times for Argentina but at the same time I have a lack of sympathy for the way they're taking it.

I'm sorry, I disagree with one point made by AC earlier, Germany haven't got the talent in their squad the likes of the players we have

They play better as a team, i'll admit that, but that's until England can find the right blend, then you'll see how much more talented we are!!! They have had a better world cup than we have thus far and have played much more passionately and are playing like they wanna win it all, and I congratulate them, but to say they are a better side than England?? I must protest, we have many more match winners in our team, and before this world cup everyone was talking about how Germany aren't even half the force they used to be, that speaks for itself

I don't underestimate Portugal at all, but understand they are no Argentina!!! Ronaldo is all style and no substance, Figo is past his sell by date, but having a great tournament, Deco is.....banned, Valente is even fatter than Ronaldo and Rooney, but I think this time we'll have the measure of them

Anyway, hats off to Germany, thrown my prediction out the window completely, the deserved it in the end, Argentina didn't seem to wanna go that extra mile to get the win, and Germany punished them for it

I owe an apology to RogerRamjet too, guess you were right man, you know more about German football than me though lol

So basically, they are better but only until England somehow magically do something? Settles it then doesn't it? Germany are the better team. Go on...I'm getting really curious now, because you're saying England are better based on nothing at all, whilst simultaneously saying Germany play better as a team. So what exactly are England better at then? Tell me specifically what makes England better, if Germany play much better as a team.

...and Germany are currently shutting everyone's mouths, as they always do in big tournaments. England beat them 5-1 and Germany then got further than England in that coming tournament, while England were on the plane coming home.
