Did they?? Hahahaha!!!! If I were the Spurs chairman, they'd have heard me laughing my ass off down the phone at them, then i'd ask "do I have a sign on my back saying kick me??

i would say Lennon is worth the money they payed for SWP, but i would say Lennon is worth more than SWP now.
anyway it's all speculation... i'd rather have Lennon, he's got a very bright future.

How they've gotten so far in some of these tournaments is a mystery to logic!!!

Did you just say Germany are jammy? This is actually getting so ridiculous that I'm starting to believe you are joking.

Anyway, I would play either Lennon or S.W.P from the start, then sub one for the other, or only if needed. Beckham will only stay if McClaren is the tabloids' b*tch.

well Sven does choose Beckham, so hopefully McClaren will drop him if he doesnt play well.

the sheer fact he's stepping down as captain as Sven gets fired shows the sway Sven had in regards to him

When McLaren was appointed as England's Manager some 3 months ago, they did ask him if Becham would remain Captain & 1st team player.

His Reply: "No Comment"

God, are you retarded!!?? You must be the only person unwilling to admit they are sometimes jammy, sooooo many others have said it too

I sometimes think you start these pathetic comments because you're lonely and want to be the centre of attention

You're a Spurs fan?? My sympathies are with you in regards to finishing outside the top four last season, I was convinced they'd done enough to nick a spot in the Champions League, ahhh well, next season eh??

i am, im also an AS Roma fan... both of which finished 5th last season after fighting for 4th.

Tottenham were unlucky, but spilt milk, as long as the squad is strengthened (namely fullback and centreback positions) and we put in a decent performance next season in both league and EUFA cup, i'll be happy.
Roma on the other hand stumbled and then came storming back at the end of the season, claiming title of highest successive victories in Serie A as far as i can remember

No, they're not retarded are they? I'm simply and civilly questioning your opinions, this is common occurance on discussion board, Mattomic. I don't know if this is the first you've been a member of.

Every team has a bit of luck, but you said Germany were a jammy team and had no idea how they got so far. Yes, because the stats I posted are clearly the result of jam aren't they?

Now please listen to me.....did I say they were jammy all the time?? I did not, and apologise if I implied so, but with the players they've got, sometimes it has to be down to jamminess, not so much this time around, or at any point up until France '98

But they have been a fading force in recent years, so for them to continually do well at tournaments means two things: They have a great team spirit and they get alot of luck

It's like how Man Utd used to like score 3 goals in the last minute (exaggeration, but still close to the truth) and win

Now obviously some quality is involved, but luck has to be an element of it too

Well, good luck to both AS Roma and Tottenham for the coming season then!!!

You're lucky to support teams like them, i'm stuck with Wolverhampton Wanderers 😆

Sounds like typical English bitterness to me. Just to me, maybe, but to me nonetheless.

You don't have an illustrious record such as Germany's off the back of luck.

Or they have great teams that know how to play well in tournaments (Psst, it's that one).

It's not, because they've won other ways too. Man U definitely had those moments, as do any team (England win most of their games as a result of this, hence Crouch's "purpose"😉, but Man U were also a dominating, powerful, talented team for many years. You don't be multi-treble winners because you're jammy.

Why? Because they're German? What about England? A team who's win over Argentina occured in the dying minutes? As well as countless other teams. Why no mention of them? Is that pure talent?

Oh come on dude!!!

If you're saying England have luck on their side then there's something wrong with ya lol

Come on, if we had luck on our side, we wouldn't have lost 5 shoot-outs on the run

And whatever you wanna say is cool, 'tis your opinion, but I believe they have gotten luck alot of the time since the turn of the millenium

Oooooh and to my surprise and amazement (not) I just found out we are a whole nine places above Germany in the rankings!!!

Shock!!! Shock!!! Horror!!! Horror!!!

Funny, still, we might become World Champion again...and you won't.

Well, probably the same you wanted others to say to your "Oooooh and to my surprise and amazement (not) I just found out we are a whole nine places above Germany in the rankings!!!"

I never said they have it on their side, I said they get lucky when they win a lot of the time (Argentina). Or if they don't win, they're lucky not to lose (Sweden).

That's a stupid belief though. Name some examples please.

What instances did Germany get "lucky", and why?

USA were ranked 5th, above Argentina. What do you want, a medal? A can of John West Tuna? As previously said.

You genuinely do know nothing, you're running out of road.

Will: nothing.

Won't: anything.

Wasnt Beckham going to retire from international play after the world cup?

just getting our hopes up

Well, he's retired now, so he's given it up. No-one can take it off him.

Same as he was injured on Saturday. Got subbed because of that- nothing to do with playing shite.

It's my opinion, and I ain't gonna explain myself for the 1,000th time

You're not gonna change my mind, so just deal with it
