Have to say, I disagree very strongly with you there Mister Matto. I think Totti has been completely peripheral all tournament. Pirlo has taken on all of Italy's, Totti's playmaker duties, and his level of energy and commitment have been put to shame by Camoranesi and Zambrotta. Lots of Italian players have come into their own in the knockout stages, and Totti isn't one of them. He's just not what he used to be. He did absolutely nothing against Germany.

Well it all comes back to whether Rooney did intentionally stamp on Carvalho, and as I said, there's only one man who knows that for certain.

Of course Rooney's not perfect, far, far from it, and I do think he's overhyped in England (especially seeing as Carlos Tevez appears to have all of the same strengths as Rooney, and none of the weaknesses), but you can't blame anyone for that. It happens in every country. In France, Zidane is god, in Ukraine, Sheva is god, in Germany, Ballack is god. If a nation has a star player, they are always forgiven for just about anything.

I disagree strongly back, I think he's done as much (if not more) than Pirlo, Totti changed the game with his smooth passing against Australia, and again against Germany, he was one of the best players on the pitch

I have always been an admirer of Totti, because I think he's got it all, but like I always say, it's your opinion, and that's cool

My team of the tournament:

Barthez

Heinze Cannavaro Ferdinand A.Cole

Hargreaves

Zidane Riquelme

Totti

Klose Torres

Speaking of similarities, is it just me or does Ballack look a little like Matt Damon?

I don't see that either.

Here's one I keep thinking:

That's funny, cuz a whole lot of other people do. Just do a google search and you'll see what I mean. Or here I'll save you some time...

These two sites even show comparison photos...some pretty funny comparisons here tho...

France v Italy

*bets £30 on Italy* 😕

*bets £30 on France* 😕

im going to bet on italy.

10 pound on italy to win 1-0

If Italy simply have to win this, then at least let's hope they do so in spectacular style.

If the World Cup final amounts to no more than Italy scoring one and closing shop, I'll be disappointed.

and thats probably what is going to happen

both teams have been decent at the back...

although i might ever stick a tenner on it going to penalties after a 0-0 2 hours of boringness

It's made me appreciate the Premiership even more now. Walcott must be loving it, the prospect of actually getting to play football.
