Despero vs. X-Men

We've seen him take on the JLA, now he takes on a packed X-Men roster.

Emma Frost using Cerebro has picked up unusual spikes of energy about 10 minutes away, headed towards the mansion. They now have 10 minutes to prepare a battle plan.

X-Men here are:

Nightcrawler

Cerebro can't track Despero. He's not a mutant. Anyways, Despero hypnotizes Colossus and Wolverine turning them to his side. Then the three of them beat up the others. Finally, Despero takes down the two of them.

Nightcrawler teleports Rogue in the back of Despero and she drains his life force.

Read up on your Marvel. The X-Men have been able to detect mutant aliens from as far as outerspace. Even still it has been enhanced by Beast.

Plus Emma using Cerebro would put up a psychic shield to protect all the members.

Even then there are 3 formidable tp's on the list. But Cerebro's shielding is the best bet.

Despero gets drained and then Cannonball pummels him in to the ground where Wolverine cut him and Colossus beats the hell out of him.

you'd need more than just colossus to confront him physically..

try colossus, rogue, wolverine, rogue, beast, and nightcrawler with swords.....while cylops uses his optic blasts.

He would be weakened by Rogue draining his energy and or powers

How about he takes over Rogue before she drains his powers? Ever thought of that?

Imo Kitty, Nightcrawler, and Iceman are their best bet to do any real damage to Despero. I could see them *maybe* pulling off a win if they have some telepathic protection from the rest of the team. Still, Despero is an absoulte beast. And there is his teleportation ability. I'd go with Despero 7/10.

I think it could go ether way

iceman could try and constrict his blood flow and flash freeze him quick enough for rogue to drain some of his powers and cyclops to blast him at full force.

that will weaken him considerably

emma, linked to rachel can attack him mentally. it wont do much, but it should be enough to distract him a little.

rogue, colossus, wolvie and sabertooth attack him the weakened state, with iceman still freezing his molecules. mystique transforms into the hulk to help them.

bishop puts his weapons on full power to weaken despero still, while shadowcat attempts to crush his heart.

cyclops takes off his visor weakening him still and destroys half of the mansion along with it.

beast is in the control room firing all the perimeter weapons at full force.

psylocke get close enough to put a psychic katana into his brain. with rachel hitting him with psionic blasts of concussive force.

SNIKT! Wolverine manages to dig his claws in Desperos head. While Sabertooth plucks and eye out.

Despero finds enough energy to knock Creed out, almost killing him. But Colossus and Rogue are enough for him in his weakened state.

While the battle rages on for hours Beast has created a device to trap Despero in.

BAMF! Nightcrawler manages to teleport him into it.

The Sh'iar Imperial Guard already aware of the cataclysmic planetary threat, come down and teleport Despero to their empire where he is to be tried.

They sing and End Song for poor Despero

This is how the story could go, or Desp might win it, but its all up to Emma putting up psychic shield for her teammates.

Despero wins. He doesn't take 10 minutes to get there. He just teleports to the side of Nightcrawler, and has him bamf into the middle of the Despero Strategy meeting they are having, and Night crawler teleports himself with as many of the team as he can, into outer space, where the lucky ones get to decompress explosively, while the others get to drift around for eternity, insane.

Then Despero calmly wanders around killing any of the straggler that weren't important enough to be called to the anti-despero planning session.

Ouch! Way too feasable.

Does anyone know how fast Despero is suspose to be? I know he has some enhansed speed (he was able to take on members of the JLA) but I not sure just how fast he is.

Yes he can teleport matter anywhere in the universe if I'm not mistaken.

just makin sure.

but psychic shields put up by emma with cerebro would even the playing field. without that they lose.
