He is just too much for Black Bolt.
Quasar is basically the cop that handles Cosmic-Level and above problem-beings in the universe. And, so far, the writers have found smart ways for him to be able to beat these creatures, instead of just deciding that he has more power, and making him suddenly be able to beat a Celestial, or something cheesy like that.
They usually find a cool way for him to use his powers and phsyics to beat these guys.
Black Bolt is truly an awesome character, but he is more of a planet-based power-house.
Quasar was able to take a full blast from Galactus with no trouble.
He disintegrated Thanos w/ infinity gauntlet.
Quasar defeated the Anomoly. An abstract entity.
Quasar neutralized almost all of Earth's strongest heroes, while having a conversation with Captain America.
He was also able to reconfigure the physical configuration of a beings throat so it could not emit any sound.
BB has no chance.
these scans show how each did against gladiator. please stop telling me q is too much for bb. in a second fight bb had with glads he was easily holding his own in purely PHYSICAL combat. his power was enough to take out the sphinx -- the same guy who battled galactus. he also has matter manipulation and has even been shown to be able to control minds. this fight is actually too close for me to call. without accessing his weakness, we've seen glads stalemate ss. ss=q bb stalemated and badly harmed (WITH A WHISPER!) gladiator. this fight is very close . . .

BB is awesome. The is by no means an easy win for any character. I'm gonna have to go with Quasar with this one though. Black Bolt is wicked versatile but Q has regular throwdowns against cosmic baddies regularly. If anything his experience against foes similar to Black Bolt IMO, lets him pull through this one

Quasar can beat SS. If you check the link I isted, you will see the fight where he was beating SS, and then decided to LET him win.
This is shown in the story. I'm not really worried about what you think, so please don't think I am telling YOU, personally, anything.

Exactly.
I think BB is awesome. In most cases I would not count him out in a fight.
But, just from Quasar's record, and the guys he has beaten, it shows that Q is in a slightly higher level.
I mean, BB is not going to be able to beat a watcher, take on an Abstract Entity, take a shot from Galactus, or blow up Thanos while he had the IG.

after i reread my post, i KNEW think i was referring to you personally. didn't mean it that way. apologies. i meant basically the whole thread.
in any event, i disagree with you and everyone else. maybe when i get back (outta town for a while) i'll post some of q's LESS than 'cosmic' showings in both his own mag and his run in the avengers. in regards to the ss event, he DID let him win because he had figured out whose champion was whose. however, their was no clear winner in that fight, and the outcome was still very much in doubt. i trust you actually read most of these issues and are not simply going by what the scans and respect thread says. some of them ARE out of context or fail to tell the whole story.
anyways, it's still a very close fight. i might give q a slight edge because of speed, but that's really the only advantage i see him having. glads ALSO has ftl speed, though and it didn't help him. i'd say q wins 26/50.
you know this thread kinda shows the extreme bias people on kmc have. the last time there was a QUASAR vs SILVER SURFER thread almost EVERY one insanely said surfer 10/10, its like when forum favourits{and the wrong kinda members} are on it doesnt matter WHO the opposition is, theyl go down, any1 who said quasar would win was merely laughed at, strange.
