I do care about the law. The law is great sometimes, and hands down the sentences that the public expect. But other times the law is far too easy on criminals. Someone dies and the killer may only get 2-3 years. 3 years for a life? We have the right to be angry. We have the right to be mad that we are not told that a pedophile moves next door to us. We have the right to know that.

You ignore the law when it goes against you though, we know this. I won't argue the prison systems need sorting, but you are going way over the top by saying such things as "The law protects criminals".

Pedophiles should not be protected. They shouldn't be able to hide away from people after what they did. They are weak and cowardly, afraid of being persecuted. They deserve to be persecuted, they do not deserve to have more rights than the public. The public expects these monsters to be put away for life, and rarely does that happen.

People should not be taking the law into their own hands either, that's why they are protected. When people like you stop thinking you can go and murder criminals and have it be ok, then the law may act differently. With people out there like you and Mullen who will try to act like The Punisher, that's why they protect them. YOU are to blame for that, not the law.

Weak and cowardly? Weak and cowardly...and stupid, are the pathetic cavemen who turn into lynch mobs when it has nothing to do with them.

Our right to be safe, and know that our kids are safe, is FAR more important than the 'right' of some sick pedophile to be sheilded from us.

Then do your job as a parent and watch your kids, stop expecting the law to parent you or parent for you.

That doesn't happen here. Sex offenders are released and no one is told if he moves into your street.

Guess why? It's because people do this:

Parents found out he was there and were mad. People threw rocks at his house and drove him out. They were more mad at not being told, as they thought they had a right to know whether their kids could still walk to school.

The last part is bullshit, by the way. If they were more mad at not being told, they'd throw rocks at the people that didn't tell them. Or here's an idea, let's not throw rocks.

Anyway, guess what happens next:

No one knows where this guy is, now.

The cops knew where he was, and now they don't. Such clever thinking by the rock throwers.

People are notified, which is why flyers of them are posted indicating that they are a sex offender and to what degree. Whenever a pedophile moves into the neighborhood, people know.
