Devil May Cry 4

F.A.O. Mods: This is not a continuation, it is the opposite. Peace.

Look, I've been advised by a mod to drop it because quite rightly (And I wasn't really seeing it), you will ignore fact after fact in favour of just getting a reply into the thread.

You are posting nothing that counters my arguments in any way, and that is a sign of defeat, so with that, I am willing to stop clogging the thread. However, if you wish to continue this debate (If people watching is not what you are after), we can go to PMs.

But again, you fail to mention what those facts are, but bring the mod in here also. We'll all have a nice civil debate together. Hopefully that mod will not resort to banning when he/she is getting trashed, though.

And I'll say the same thing as I said in Halo 3: my job here is not to just let people listen to you bs and miss out on experiences they didn't know existed.

Account restricted...dang. Anywho......................DMC4 what is the release date for the game?

Ships 2/5, so it should be available on the 6th. 🙂

Awesome. Can't wait. Hopefully it won't be as easy as 2 and hopefully it won't be nearly as difficult as 3.

I like the demo.. but that devil arm is the cheapest shit going... I never even touched the ground (unless I got hit from my own greed) during the boss battle.. then again I guess thats whats cool about it...

now if only they'd do co-op :/

Well they said they intentionally made this one more accessible to gamers and not as hard, being that the difficulty level before got a lot of complaints.

After playing the demo, I'd say they meant every word......maybe meant them too much though. We'll see.

Wow, really?

Wait...people thought DMC was hard?

People complained that two was too hard, and that three was too easy.

I'm not sure what these people want.

Other way around. Three too hard; two was too easy.

How about a game that gives you a challenge without being so difficult that you have to go on pure button mashing/luck to win a battle.

I disagree, three was fairly easy but then again I'm a DMC veteran. Two was just retarded and boring.

Cosigned.

It's not hard to be a DMC veteran. If you're good at one, you're good at them all.

It's the Coldplay of games. If you like it, cool.

I just don't see the point of also making everything have infinite ammo, also. It's just like the Fisher Price of games.

Three wasn't WAY too difficult, but it was a bit above average difficulty. Two was just too easy.

Hardest part in Three - the last bossfight with Virigil. All fights until that weren't very hard.

Are we supposed to stop arguing period, or cease as long as there are insults in our posts?

It's just funny that this wasn't answered before a ban was given.

But whatever. 😂

its not like any of the projectile weapons accomplish anything.. most of the game is done with repetative sword swipes to obtain style ratings

the guns only serve to hamper your combo'ing progress, so its really not worth bringing up as a gameplay flaw.... it just feels thrown in as some extra button to mash when you're closing the distance

IGN gave it a 8.7 for both the PS3 and 360 version.

Pretty good.

Do you need to play the first 3 DMC games to comprehend and enjoy the plot of this one?

If anyone could answer that, it'd be much appreciated.

Well they say Devil May Cry 4 is a game for long time fans and newcomers. They say they've made it so newcomers can jump right in.

This can partly be contributed to the fact that we mainly play as a new character and not Dante, who was the main character of the past games.

Although there are parts of the game that are played as Dante as well.

So you should still be able to enjoy these games without having played the past 3 games.
