Lemme ask you a question first cap.falcon, Are you a Darwinist and if so why?
And I accept Darwin's theory of evolution because it's the best and most scientific explanation there is. It makes sense and explains how things happen due to the laws of nature. It explains hoow things happen, without the question and concept of god.

is it okay if I debate you on darwinism?

Falcon you do realize that darwins theories are full of holes?
Darwinism basically believes that living creatures change through the process of natural selection, Problem is new species have never appeared as result of natural selection.

Falcon give me one example of a species that has resulted from natural selection. Also Neo-Darwnist believe mutations have also resulted in variations amongst species despite the fact it has never been observed to do so, give me an example of a mutation that has been beneficial.
Most evolution is not caused by mutations. Most evolution is small changes over vast amount of time.

Maybe not a billion, but I get the Idea, and you are correct. But think about wisdom teeth. Most people have them removed because they cause problems. Why do we have them?
That's good question if we evolve wouldn't they disappear and be replaced by new traits?
Edit: Yep there are fossilized bacteria that haven't changed in 1.9 billion years.
Originally posted by Blue nocturnewow, how can that be true. O wait, it isn't! creatures haven't even been around for 1 billion years. And anyway, didn't the bible say, 6,000 years?
There are creatures that have been around for 1 billion years and haven't change one bit.EDIT: Dragonflies,Starfish, omnomite(Even though there extinct),Horseshoe crabs ETC...Haven't changed at all.
Darwinism maintains that different groups of living things (phyla) developed from a common ancestory and grew apart after some time. According to Darwinism, living things grew apart from one another like the branches on a tree
But the fossil record shows just the opposite Some 100 phyla suddenly emerged in the Cambrian Age.

Maybe, but evolution is gradual, so as some things are changing, other things are not.
Let me give you an example of the evolution that we have created on the small scale. Breeding is simply evolution. A poodle never lived in the wild, but we have them today. We have all kinds of dogs that are not suitable for the wild, that we humans have breed. What this shows is that the dog has a lot of potential variations in its genes. These variations help the dog adapt and change to a ever changing world.
