Darth Maul and Asaaj Ventress vs. Mace Windu (ROTS)

Qui-Gon was said to have saber skills that rivaled Mace during TPM... but that was in the novel, and it doesn't sound quite right. I'm just throwing that out there. And there would be no "pwning" in these fights. Winning, but not with ease.

Another thing: Did Mace have any impressive feats using the force in any novels? I haven't heard of any.

Apparently he did in Shatterpoint. Show me where in the novels it was stated that Qui Gon was anywhere on par with Mace?

I don't have the book with me right now, sorry. But that's what I've heard.

Oh so you didn't actually read it.. Ok well I am 99% sure it wouldn't say that.

Maybe someone who has read it recently or has a good memory will intervene...? Please.

Exactly. He would win the sabre fights because hes black to. After all hes Shaft .

1) Saber combat only.

2) Force only.

3) No sabers (unarmed fight, can use force powers, but give it a Hollywood feel, with most of the action on hand to hand combat, with the occasional force push. Sorry if you don't like this one, I was hoping you would get what I was trying to say.)

4) Anything goes (as long as it's personal combat. I need to specifically exclude ships and the like or else a moron may say something idiotic).

At one point, Mace fights bare-handed against Kar Vastor, an untrained but powerful Force-user (power on the level of Yoda). Mace hit him six times before Vastor could focus his eyes.

In Shatterpoint, he triggered a land-slide to dam up a lava flow. He then used the Force to hold the land-slide in place.

Maul & Ventress are good, but neither of them are on Mace's level. In all four scenarios, he wins. They'd put up a good fight, but he still wins.

TPM novel. Qui-Gon was on par with Mace.

But the novel is bullcrap though. Mace wasn't really hyped until AotC.

Neither Maul nor Asajj are incredible with the Force so Mace could probably win but itd probably be close.

It wouldn't be close, really.

Mace takes them with the Force, just like in #2.

Or, he could shatter both of their skulls at the same time with his bare hands.

Jollyjim, I know Maul is an amazing fighter. Hence I said it would be a brilliant fight to watch. But still, he does not really fight anyone of great power or skill in the comics or books, though he pwns everyone in those.

How can we say that either of these could beat mace, in anything? Mace was a jedi master who won many duels and battles and created his own form, he beat sidious in lightsaber combat, against maul who got killed by a tpm obi and assaj who lost to anakin like 3 times.
