Sora(Kingdom Hearts) vs Link(Legend of Zelda)

If he can overcome the spinning to take aim the hook probably wouldnt even leave the magnets pull, or get pulled back in before hooking on to anything. And has to do this while dealing with the magnets damage, keyblades and/or magic attacks.

That and the hookshot leaves him open.

Don't think it's be all that hard to aim. The spell just makes them spin, doesn't paralyse anyone completely. How damaging is the spell? He had boots the let him walk without friction so that would help I think.

I'd think so. Spinning and aiming for something sturdy with keyblades and magic attacks flying towards you sounds like a challenge to me.

Its as strong as his other spells, while it wont be enough to do significant damage its still something.

Sora takes this. His fighting style is Advent Children crazy anime jump miles into the air run up walls slash through buildings kinda fighting style.

Link is much more ordinary. No running up walls or jumping over houses. Just basic swordsmanship.

Sora takes this indeed but not for those reasons. Mostly due to his superior speed/magic. Fighting style, while important in some regards, is not everything. And a motionless fighter can sometimes beat one that runs around a lot.

It's not simply he "runs around a lot". He basically moves like a Jedi.

My point was, Sora comes from an exaggerated, super human style of fighting. Like Advent Children. Link comes from a pretty normal one.

Think Advent Children and Jedi. That's how Sora fights. Think any normal swordsman. That's how Link fights.

It's like comparing someone from DBZ to someone from the movie "Fight Club".

Sora is faster than most Jedi from the movies. If anyone fights like a Jedi, it would be Link.

That said, the problem with the fighting style comparison is: a)Fighting style doesn't really matter if the person is on a "equal" power level to you. b) You talked about Fight Club.
