No, it just made him supreme powerful, far above the normal character in Marvel U, and Thanos BELIEVED he had become god.. But he thought the same thing in Thanos Quest about having the Infinity Gauntlet.

Both of these characters have what it takes to wipe out Universes and then some. Theres really nothing to back them up beyond that.
