I have Jesse Bedlam. He can work without actually coming to eyesight...seeing as he can track the location of your team pretty easily. Few bio-electric EMP's make Dr. Light have some incredible pain on his head...and your other team members too.
question for dizzle: How can you not expect people to gang up on you? You have a team that is above the tourney caps, which means it is above all the members of any team battling it. so how can one team battle a team that is above its maximum level and has characters that encompass several other characters without the hindrances that follow any other team with multicharacter powers?

Ultimate Thor, Light, Duplicate Boy and Powerhouse. My gravity sheilds can take anyone and throw them like a mother, my omni directional blasts can take care of almost anyone (Light and Thor), my stealing energy comes in handy with almost anyone, most importantly Darkcrawlers team (who are mostly composed of lighting weilders).
not to mention that DB is multiplied to six super powered mo' fos. (Ills animal men)

and anyways, spiderman is more than capable of dodging bullets, even magic bullets (he catches a couple at the beginning of "the other" plotline) SG is faster and has a more developed spidersense, I dont think some long range fancy bullets are going to do much

ya, you probably are hurting him with the bullets, but his ability to regrow his body is enough to heal from non-fatal blasts
this doesnt take into account the fact that blackheath made duplicates of himself from man-thing... so i'd be a stretch to proove that you even hit the right one
anyways, you start shooting from a distance at SG and Goblin, Blackheath locates pollen and spore in your lungs and gives you an asthmatic response, or just grows roots from the local foiage out around you as to incapacitate (Not accounting for the fact that Dizzle says Rainbowbrite has already killed you char :/)
If Blackheath comes under fire, he simply integrates himself into the plant matter of Man-Thing, the way he does with bushes in Avengers vs Thundebolts #1 or 2... ill find scans later if necessary

The thing, the hulk and others have all tried to use physical damage to hurt the man-thing, and it normally has no success, since he can reform himself if you manage to break any part of him off, and mostly, physical objects pass directly through his body without harm.
so, your blades and kicks, regardless of how effective they may be against "meat" opponents are useless here, as well as the rocks.
So, it looks to me like both the captain and Manji are in lots of trouble, especially since man-thing is 50' tall and has lots of excess plant matter to heal himself with, should you even hurt him. Take into account that his body can be controlled by Blackheath, these 2 are tied up with man-thing vines and burnt to a crisp
your rock thrower and your gunner are entirely useless against man-thing, so provided they dont die from asthma or dizzle, Man-thing just rushes over and burns them too 🙂

Our team isn't above the caps... All 4 members are inside every single cap. We only broke the "no amalgams" rule, but their actual powers still fit inside the caps. None of them are stronger than Thing, none of them have a greater energy output than Iron Man, etc etc etc. (that doesn't include Majestic, as he was the response to the team up...)
The basic gist is that if you try to team up with someone else, you get killed.
And GF, I really think you're missing the point. You're arguing that your attack would work because Scoob's team is distracting me, however, I could argue the exact same thing against you. Hell, my argument for that is probably better, as he starts a hell of a lot closer to you than he does to me. So even though it's not a direct team up, your argument against my team relies on Scoob, instead of just yourself. Would you and Scoob together beat our team? Probably. Would my team kick your team's ass if there were no other team around? Definitely. The winner should be the strongest team, not the team that no one decides to attack...

Take it as you will, really. I realize now that the problem with me actually debating and officiating at the same time makes it hard to tell the difference between "official" stuff and me arguing with people...
In my mind, "real time" shouldn't really be taken into account, because I approach this thinking that the strongest team here should win, not the one that gets attacked the least. So as a debater, I treat it as a string of single battles. Can you bring in "other stuff" that might happen in this fight? Yes, though I'd still argue against it, because it's using the strength of other teams instead of your own, but it's not illegal. The only thing that IS illegal, and has been the whole time, is deliberately teaming up with an opponent.
So from here on in, (this'll be up another week, along with the finals) I'm going to stop debating, as it's all but impossible for anyone to discern whether I'm simply trying to argue as a contestant or uphold the rules. (or change them, though from how I intended everything to be taken, I haven't changed anything since my first post... except for bringing in Majestic over Superman)

The other was bullshit , also those bullets had had their momentum seriously run down by spider dodging them. These bullets are also armour piercing
That fear thing would be a valid point , if my team had any fear.
The captain is an emotionless soldier ready to do his duty without hesitation , he has mastered his own body so much that their is never any fear. Luffy is always happy and is never afraid (seriously it's freaking creepy the kid is ether angry or happy) Manji is never afraid because he knows that he can't be killed because of the kessen-chu . Rip is never afraid ether , the Only time she has ever shown fear was when alucard came for her. But that had little to do with alucard in general sense but more-over because he was a physical representation of samiel.
Also , it's a mountain . There's very little vegetation to regenerate with , and considering that were going to be kicking it off the mountain it's going for a ring out....
