Loeb & Liefeld on Onslaught Reborn

It’s a return that well, let’s be honest, you probably didn’t see coming.

In November, Jeph Loeb and Rob Liefeld will team for a five part, weekly, miniseries that returns to the Heroes Reborn universe, and brings along the villain who got the whole Heroes Reborn ball rolling. The title?

Onslaught Reborn.

NO X-FACTOR FOR LIEFELD! It would be taking something so beautifully crafted by PAD and others with artistic merit and shitting all over it.

But yeah, if there was ever a project not to be excited about, it looks like this is it. Who knows. Might be pleasently surprised. Art for Liefeld standards isn't that bad. Looks like his noses are starting to take some shape, and once in awhile there's a hint of dimension.

I couldn't be bothered reading the whole article.... are they bringing Onslaught back for good?

I remember during the Heroes Reborn story, Avengers island had a nuclear reactor that was melting down.... Thor and Hulk had to go into it to stop it, Thor passed out and Hulk saw an apparition/vision of Onslaught..... but nothing else was ever heard of the guy since then

Meh. I'd possibly think about getting this if Liefeld wasn't on art. I didn't mind the Heroes Reborn stuff. But there's no way i'm paying to look at Leifelds art.

doesnt anyone get comics just for the plot line anymore. I mean cmon the art isnt that bad but i wont get it because i think onslaught sucks

Oh you may not think that the art is that bad now... but wait until you read an issue or so and have to stare at each and every character looking exactly the same!

yeah i just looked at the cover closer and half the people are in the same exact position

why are thor's legs so damn long and his arms so damn thick? oh wait, i know. liefeld.

That won't actually be our Thor though will it? I seem to remember there being two Thors during Heroes Reborn.

And it looks like the one that wasn't the real MU Thor... or something...

Yeah, these are the Heroes Reborn versions of the characters. I don't think this is taking place in the 616-verse.
