These rain outs are helping the Cards more than the Mets IMO. Chris Carpenter is getting plenty of rest, so he probaly gets the start in game 6.

So, they've pushed it to game 7. This is annoying. Its funny, the Tigers swept their series, and now they're getting all this rest and practice.

That may not be good.

I'm actually rooting for the Cardinals. The Card's are deadly, but the Met's lineup will actually hurt Detroit.

Detroit SHOULD win. They are just skilled and they got a lot of rest and practice.

i think the mets need to win for the world series to be competitive at all.

I don't think either team has a chance at beating Detroit.

cards and tigers are like the same team, only the tigers are better. THats why the mets would have been the only possible challenge.

a team with good D and good picthing against a team with gret D and great pitching.. yea this is a hard one for the tigers.

I predicted a Tigers sweep a while ago. I don't think it will happen but I kind of want it to so I can be right. But I would rather the Tigers win it in 7.

I predict the Cards win game 1, but then lose in 6.

actually its very good.I was reading in the paper today that historically,teams that sweep the series in four games have benefited from the rest and being better rested,they have the advantage and usually win.The tigers being the good team they are,I give them the edge.I was hoping it would be the mets and tigers once the tigers beat the A's with the mets winning it all but since its the cards and tigers now,I am pulling for the tigers.

Yeah but not only did they sweep they had ample resting time because of the rain outs, that could turn out to be bad. Lost of momentum.

yeah but since they have time to rest it has given them time for one of the pithcers they said that was ailing,time to recuperate and he will be ready to go now and historically,its been an advantage.Not saying its a guarantee because history was against the red sox when they were down 3 to nothing against the yankees in the playoffs a couple years backl,only like one team had ever bounced back before so anythign can happen,but historically,the rest favors the tigers.
