I know anything can happen in any game but if you look at it on paper no pitcher can handle the yankees lineup.
Kenny Rogers FTW!

Great prediction buddy. You called it.

Calm down little buddy the series isnt over.
I was like you when my Lakers went up 3-1 and lets just say it ended in dissapointment.
Just a word of advice, dont make an ass outta yourself, premature celebration can come back and bite you in the ass.

I said great prediction as in a Yankees sweep of the Tigers. It obviously didn't happen, so you prediction was wrong. I didn't celebrate yet. You didn't see the "w00t" or "π€" or something else that I do every year then the Yankees lose.
GO TIGERS!!!

USC nearly gave me a heart attack today but the Yankees gave me a full fledged stroke.
So my brother(Dodgers fan) calls me up right after the game. I know hes about to give it to me, but I answer anyway. To my surprise he says sorry π clearly not wanting me to call him up later when the Dodgers bite the big one. But he tells me that he wanted a Yankees, Dodgers world series(which would have been one for the ages).
But as I have been saying since '01, "there's always next year". Hopefully we can keep this lineup intact and get Zito.
Great pitching>Great offense. Always.
People seemed to forget this before the Yanks-Tigers series. You could put out the greatest offense ever assembled in the history of baseball and they can still get shut down by a pitcher who's on his game.
Plain and simple, the Yanks will do nothing playoff wise until they get a good starting staff and a reliable bullpen. Until then, they're that proverbial good to great offensive team that you can't take seriously in the playoffs.

what makes you a USC and a Yankees fan. Cause at a glance that makes you seem like the biggest bandwagon fan ever.
How does that make me look like an bandwagon fan?
You have absoulutely no idea what you're talking about. I have never made it my duty to root for my hometown team. I root for the team I like, and never change teams because of they are/arent winning. Yankees have always been my team, never will change, and I think its incredibly moronic to question someones loyalty because there team isnt homegrown.
What makes you a Seahawks fan?

How? USC always win. Yankees always win. Lakers used to always win. Besides last year, the Eagles always do good. That sounds like bandwagon.
They better not!
Torres replacement is supposedly to be Pinnela(sp?), I think its a bad idea to replace Joe Torre, as a matter of fact anyone in the current lineup except Sheffield.
We just need pitching, Barry Zito π
Maybe Soriano, although we dont need him he would be a great additon plus hes been on the team before so hes comfotable with the atmosphere.
AND PLEASE GET SOME MIDDLE RELIEF

You might have lost a good shot at Zito by trading for Abreu.
I hope the Phillies get Zito. He's there number 1 target, along with Aramis Ramirez.

first i said it makes you look like a bandwagon fan, now you called me a moron. I said it because you like one of the best college teams in the nation and one of the best baseball teams and both teams do have a lot of bandwagon fans. I asked how your a fan of both didnt say your a bandwagon fan, just siad it looks that way and asked why you like them both. You say hometeam doesnt matter, ok then why do you like them? its not because thye are good? did you start liking them when they were bad? i doubt it. I mean come on.. eagles, lakers, yankees, USC... thats one hell of a bandwagon lineup
I like the Seahawks because I grew up with them and Ive always liked them since they were garbage. They just became good recently.
