The Mets couldn't even **** this season up if they wanted too.
No, they could.
First off, there are always injuries. Second, their Bullpen is terrible. So unless Johan goes 9 every game he still has a chance to lose no matter what. 3rd, the rest of their rotation is not good. And 4th, the Phillies are a very good team.
I'm not saying the Mets are not the frontrunners or anything, but they will be in a dogfight to win the NL East, I guarentee it.

Well everybody doubted the Philles would win the division when September came around last year and look what happened. I think the Mets collapse last year was more improbable then the Phillies winning the division this year.
Plus, the Phillies had a crazy amount of injuries that it was a miracle we stayed in the race. Only 2 pitchers in our opening day Starting Rotation stayed there. We had no closer good closer for like a month. Utley, Howard, Victorino, and others were all injured at some time. Of course, the same thing could happen again this year, but if the injuries stay at a minimum this year we SHOULD get close to 100 wins.
Clemens just lied to Congress.

Well naturally Mcnamee's attorney is going to say that. I all know is when both speak again, someone will be getting perjury charges.

It is interesting however there is a few details that raises some questions. Like he said that he saved the syringes and vials of blood in case clemens would deny it yet they were really good friends at this time in 2001. Plus we know he had access to steroids and he most likely did inject clemens with other legal substances to so who is to say he couldn't tamper syringes and steroids to make up of evidence. This news doesn't change my mind one way(still undecided and waiting for all the facts) or the other but it is very intriguing.
