He only failed because of the ultimate plot device in Lui Kang. The guy won every fight in the games except the two on one that led to his death.

Also, Shao Kahn was merging dimensions, and forcibly took souls out of almost every body on Earth except the one's that Raiden protected.

No, you wouldn't. I also wasn't speaking in terms of formidability on the game or the skill level of the player. I was referring to continuity.

I'm referring to ACTUALLY playing the game. In continuity then.. LK and Raiden Dominate matters. Quan-She has been beaten so many times it's silly. He isn't even as good as Tsung

Sub Zero is the epitome of cool, pun intended. Scorpion was great in the beginning, but I prefer the evolution of Sub Zero's character over Scorpions.
I think the evolution of Suv Zero isn't that cool tbh. Just me though. I like Scorpion since he's just hell bent on revenge. I also like Noob the original Sub better.

That's determined by skill. I never said Quan Chi is the most powerful he's just usually thje most effective. Everyone has lost in mortal kombat.

Quan Chi beat the shi-t out of Shang Tsung one on one in deception. Quan Chi is greater than Shang Tsung. Shang's up there for me but he's the epitome of failure.

Quan Chi and Shang Tsung were handled by Kung Lao fighting them both one on two.

Yes, but he lost and badly to Liu Kang. Shao Kahn also was backed by an entire realm. Shao Kahn is more powerful than Quan Chi but in terms of cunning he isn't in the same league. Quan Chi's more of a master manipulator while Shao Kahn is more of a brute force I'll just invade everything and overpower it kind of a guy.

Everyone loses to Kang. He was backed... in spirit. It did nothing in battle.

Yes, but for all his cunning, he sure fails a lot

The canon fights were silly outside the cinemas. I only really give the canon scenes credence otherwise Sonya beats Raiden and all kinds of silly shit.

Quan Chi was involved in his death. He also outlived him in the latest one since Raiden had to kill him.

He prevails more than any other mk villain. The guy won the deadly alliance. They defeated raiden and he dominated Shang Tsung. He was involved in butchering Liu Kang. Shao Kahn can never make that claim.

Quan Chi is by far the greatest manipulator in all of mk.

Do you like Smoke?

Smoke is the best character to use... He dominates as far as the regular characters go, not including bosses.

New Enenra Smoke was pretty awsome though I prefered his old ninja costume over the smoky hair one.
New MK is an awesome game.
My favorites are Rain,Sub-Zero,Smoke.

Same here! I didn't much care for his smoky hair one. Noob is pretty cool sometimes.

The guy manipulates the shit out of people. He killed a later to be retconned Shao Kahn. I haven't played deeption and deadly alliance in a while but both he and Quan Chi had their hands all over most character's fates in some fashion. Shang Tsung convinced Shao Kahn not to kill him after the mk tourney 1 loss.

It was mostly Quan to my knowledge.

They faked allegiance to Fake Kahn and then jumped at him... lol

Convincing someone to not kill you isn't manipulating

Quan probably did more but it was probably only like a 60 percent manipulation to Shang's 40. Not overwhelming. Yes, they fooled him. Shang and Quan killed Liu Kang. Shao Kahn was unable to do so.

Convincing someone not to kill you is persuading them. There's a reason Shang Tsung was allied with by Quan Chi. Both are good at it. Both had something to gain from the other's abilities and resources.
