Say it with me. Plot device. They had to figure out a way to get john out of the story. He was too powerful and WW and Superman were gone. they needed them out of the way so BA could kick the crap out of everyone else. BA never even got to do anything to Jonn.

And . . . you still misrepresented what happened. J'onn got screwed up by a glimpse at BA's mind during WW3.
Since his mentality is far removed from that right now I don't know what kind protection BA has against TP. If he has none than I can't really see how MM could lose this.

If you think back, you'l remember that MM had BA on the ropes. And that he even said that he could just not allow BA the privy of Thought. So basically MM jobbered himself out by allowing BA thought. He looked into BA's mind being nosey when he should have just made him say shazam and be done with it.

He was only able to do this for like a panel, and then got overpowered. Do you really think he could have mindraped him? No really.
I mean, nothing on panel backs up MM's statement, unless we take just statements into consideration, and ignore that MM knew himself that his last statement was retracted almost as fast as it was said.
He was in control of his motor functions for a panel or two, and when BA showed him everything, MM couldn't handle it, and cried like a baby.
If he would have tried to do what you think he would have, then the end of that fight, would have came sooner than it did.
Plus, he also got the element of surprise...
BA's mind was too strong, and I don't even know why I'm arguing with you about this. I mean, let's ignore the fact that BA beat his ass twice, but let's take into consideration that MM was able to control him for a panel, before getting overpowered.

Your perception is not mine. Period. MM never shut down BA's mind. Surely if he took control of his body, he can shut his mind down. Unless you think BA's mind is somehow superior to 70 plus white martian telepaths who were able to even over come the mind of Superman.

strength and durability are two different Things. BA is far more durable than MM. But MM should have phased, been invisible and attacked at his liesure.

It's a feat none the less. The marvel's have the best durability of the DCU earth born Heroes and villians. For him to be able to do that means he could pretty much melt SOmeone like WW or Thor's face if he managed to get a hit in.
