"No... I-I can't leave th-them." He studdered as he spit up some of the thick substance that had built in the back of his throat. He thought about what had just happend, She... no, no, no! She's my sensei and that's all. He thought shaking his head. He coughed a deep low cough. "L-let me h-help them." He said, his vision starting to fade. What the hell, how am I suffering this badly? Dammit! How could I fail in this stupid way! No... I won't fail this... I have to prove myself and not look like a complete idiot all the time. He thought as he pushed Haku aside and slowly stood up. He looked over at Ren and Tien-sensei, he had no clue who they were but they had masks. He limped over to Ren and gripped his mask, "Y-you don't need t-that." He studdered as he coughed up more of the substance. He couldn't believe that he was going to fail, No! I have to get these masks to them...

Haku suddenly growled and bolted towards him. Two shining yellowish orbs narrowed as he growled and bit into the back of the young man's shirt. He snarled trying to keep him back. Siaya looked over, startled, and leapt down.

The students were doing fairly well. Chou had inactivated one unit, and was now trying to fight her shy disposition and tell the others where she sensed the boxes. The other guys with in the bamboo encasement were trying to band together as well. She sighed and headed towards Yuki. She placed a hand on his shoulder, and pulled him away from Ren gently. She leaned forward and whispered in his ear, as not to alarm the nervous looking student before the two.
" You are incapacitated. Don't worry, you have done well for the time being. You have all the right intentions, now please let yourself heal. "
Her voice was somewhat cold, but also carring, concerned.

Haku was staring up at the two, his large head cocked. Saiya smiled at the wolf, and thne looked back at Yuki, her vivid eyes closing with a serene smile.
" Haku will stay with you, if you feel any worse notify me, alright? I don't want to see you knocked out of the game so soon. You have much potential. Heres some herbalized water, it will only help"
She added, handing him the small cantine. She place a hand on his head and it slide off slowly as she walked on. She hoped she hadn't seemed to soft.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Chou loooked nervously as the Sensei lifted another from the ring. She finally got the guts to speak up.

" Uh..."
She said in a quiet voice. Her face reddened. She was such a baby. She loooked away...she had to help her team, she had to.
" Hey! Um...look, I, I ....I can tell you where all of the canisters are, and i can..uh...locate the wire. So if you want i can do that..a..a...and maybe one of you guys could cut it!"

Her sweater was still pulled over her mouth, and she looked away, embarrased. She wondered if anyone had aknowledged her.

Raiden collapsed under fatigue. He was panting for breath, and his sweat had no level of description. I think, we have trained enough.

Hahaha, do you think your teachers would let you stop because you are tired? What have you learned? How have you improved? You have not set standards for yourself. How will you know if you are advancing or simply wasting your time? No, you will continue, or you will fail.

He however was interrupted by a faint smell in the air. If he hadn't been so dehydrated, he never would have noticed it. What is that?, he thought, pushing himself up to his feet. What or where it came from he was unsure, but as far as he was concerned his training was over.

(ok this is my opening 😛 )

Servus walked into the school putting down his bag in the lounge. ''HELLO CAN SOMEONE HELP ME'' he yelled.

Yuki looked at the ground in dismay, she was right. I failed my first test, ruined my first impression... man, what else could possibly happen? His back hurt from Haku's bite. He took a sip of the water, it tasted bitter. He looked down at the other students, [I]They're all still there... I should be down there. His lungs had loosened some pressure, but there was still a pressure. He coughed twice, and sat down. Yuki rested his head on his arms as he watched the other students.

(I'd post more, but I've gotta go, peace.)

Haku nudged Yuki softly with his large reddish nose. He whined, demanding attention as the boy sat, looking on. Saiya noted this and turned away.
" Tien, Keep an eye on them for a moment. "
She approached Yuki, and sat beside him. A chuckle escaped her lips.
" You believe you failed, but were you even aware of what the test was?"
She pulled off her mask, breathing in the cool air calmly. Her eyes shifted when she picked up a noise off in the distance.

Leaving her mask beside Yuki and Haku and stood and walked to a nearby. another young male approached. She stopped, looking him over and waiting for a response.

[I'll assume the young man is me]

Raiden had turned the corner, and found a sensei with a student at her feet. Although he did not wish to seem rude, his fatigue had him forget his manners. He breathed steadily seeing as he found the source of the stench. Methane? he thought to himself. I wouldn't last 5 minutes with this teacher, even though she may be my preference.

The only thing that can ever attribute positively to his appearance would be his straw hat. It distracts the people from looking at his eyes, and never lets an opponent see his thoughts in his face. He did not address the sensei. I have no ties to her, nor loyalties, nor do I owe her anything. As far as I'm concerned if she wishes to address me, she can speak to me first. He kept looking at the two people in front of him. The thoughts of what could have possibly caused this scene to occur, stilled his feet and hushed him from speaking.

Tien stood next to Raiden. "Have you not heard that it is rude not to take your hat off in the presence a lady." Tien said, nudging the student toward Uchida.

Raiden tilted his head a fraction in the direction of the teacher to whom spoke to him. However he did not reply. He returned back to the image he focused on, but this time turned his gaze to the teacher. There was something about her, something familiar. He hoped that his gaze peirced through his hat to draw the teacher out. He waited in silence for perhaps even the slightest nudge...

Saiya Uchida stared curiously at the boy before her. Her eyes met his, leaching into his soul as she attempted to read him. She was normally quite good at this, but in this case she could not dicifer his emotions. With a slightly aggrivated sigh she let one of her eyes gaze at a cloud floating behind the boy. It looked like a rose. She chuckled to her self then. Such petty nonsense.

" Hello. May i ask what your doing you're doing here...? Are you lost? "

Annoyingly she could not draw a portion of her gaze from the cloud wisping through the sky. She then blinked once. She mustve seemed very rude dividing his attetion.

He smiled, and let out an almost inaudible chuckle; as though humbly celebrating a victory. "Not at all, Uchida Sensei" he said bowing deeply, "I did not mean to disturb your training. I will be going now." As he turned, he tipped his head to Tein, "Sensei", and continued back to his place of solitude. You see, now that is improvment. He couldn't help but walk with an air of pride, Now you can rest for the day.

Tien stepped in front of Raiden. "If you are only here to be rude, then I suggest you take you business away from this school. If you want to learn martial arts then stay and join in a lesson. There are masters here who will teach you how to fight... and how to behave." Tien said pointing first at the exit, then toward several dojos. "Make your choice, young one, and try not to annoy the people who train you." Tien said as he turned and walked toward Ren.

Ren looked at Raiden cautiously, he wasn't sure Raiden could be trusted. "Should we keep an eye on him master?" Ren asked quietly.

Tien shook his head. "That is just what he wants. He is an arrogant young man, as I once was. Soon he will find himself under the tutelage of someone who will help him lose that arrogance." Ren said as he walked over to a tree to begin his first lesson with Ren.

" Hn."
She gazed off to the left and turned her eyes to meet his once more.
" You have not disturbed anything. If you wish to train under my guidence let me know by sundown. If not, then good luck with your future in these arts." She paused." This one's open as well. " She nodded to Tien.

Drawing in a deep breath she looked turned abruptly, letting her head roll back around to see the boy departing. A grin crossed her lips. She would have fun with this one. He was a hard one, it would be tough to crack him. Ah well, she'd think of a way.

Yuki let a small grin escape on his face as he stroked Haku's fur. Perhaps Uchida-sensei is right. When Raiden had approached, he took notes on his character and he seemed to be an all right guy. He looked at this Tien. If he was a sensei he was bound to be strong. He watched as Raiden disappeared, and watched as his comrades continued to attempt to stop this gas. "Er, U-Uchida-sensei, did you intend all of us to fail?" He asked, staring at his sensei in a "peculiar" way. (😄) He scratched his leg, and stared up at the sky. Maybe I still have a chance of redeeming myself? He shook his head and stared at his sword's blade. A big, sturdy claymore. He run his finger up the blade, and didn't really notice as blood spurted from his finger. He let his claymore fall to the ground with a Clank and began sucking on his bleeding finger.

"One of the many ways you can test whether your blade is dull or..." The silky mature voice slipped through the slats not far from Yuki, "Sharp in your case...be more carefull next time young one." Misaki's figure appeared slowly from the barrier, a small almost smug smile spread across her lips...her eyes were cold as usual.

*Raiko raised an eyebrow. First the wolf growled at him, then whined, and then went back to watching him. He backed up slowly until he got to a tree and leaned back against it. He still felt dizzy from the methane gas and took a deep breath of fresh air. Though Uchida Sensei let his failure slip by, he knew the next test was going to be harder. Why did she? Was she interested in his talents? Or was she hitting on him? Either way, he chuckled.*

((recap and where should i come in.... i would be one of your students ....Maleficus))

Misaki bowed slightly to the sensei and then moved out of the area, making her way outside and into one of the large surrounding gardens. The tension in her right shoulder was becoming unbearable and she would have to release a little of it with some katana sooner than later.

(The lessons have started and a few of the students are going through one of their first tests. If you want to be one of Tien's students, he is in the large garden with Ren.)

Haku closed his eyes, turning his head for Yuki to reach below his large, pointed ear. Saiya turned towards him. She heaved a sigh, replacing her mask. She narowed her eyes onto his, attempting to lure them upwards, or at least alter their current fixation on her slender body. In order to teach him she must have his respect.

A smile welded itself onto her lips as she remembered a time long ago.

She shook her head gently, knocking some of her silky hair into her face, which she proceeded to tuck back immediatly.

" Yuki , you do not currently understand the deffinition of failing this test. Think about your actions. Do you see your teamte over there? He was strong, no doubt, yet, he failed. You did not. "

She left him to think about his actions as she jumped in to save but another of her students. The blind one, Chou. She had passed. barely. Now she lay on the ground, a trail of transluscent yellowish liquid running from her mouth. She lifted her and placed her a few yards away from Yuki.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Chou coughed involuntarily, wheezing desperately to reach the sweet oxygen which her lungs craved. A bitter taste had sustained itself in her mouth, and was clinging to her lips. She wiped them gently with the cloth Uchida sensei had given her. She focused her senses on a distant point as she heaved her body up. An embarrased blush crossed her gentle face, and she looked down attempting to cover it.

Haku suddenly raized his eyes and trotted to her. She smiled, petting him. The wolf she had met earlier.
" Hey.."
She whispered, quietly. Moments later he trotted obideantly back to Yuki's side as his master had commanded.

The wolf heaved another sigh, slumping down beside him. The heat was subsiding as the sun begun to lower itself behind a thick mass of trees in the distant mountains. Kuro noted the different sounds filling the air, his ears turning to absorb each and every one.

Saiya turned, hearing the quiet sound of the mans entertainment. Her eyes locke donto his for a moment as she tried to understand him. He was not to deep in thought, but she knew it concerned her, as credited to the way his eyes shied only slightly from hers. She nodded and turned back.

Turning abruptly at the new voice that registered in her mind she noted the girl behind her. She was, indeed older then the rest, and , it semed, she was headed to Tien's training area. At first her glance was skeptical, but she realized the error of her ways and nodded congenially, with a welcoming gaze, then she turned again to her students. The ones remaining were either ill now or about to be, but they had knocked out each canister of methane.

She helped them all out of the ring, and waited untill each was feeling better. She watched as they sat quietly before her, each in their own spot, panting with exhaustion. some who had come out earlier were now almost completely healed from the methane poisoning they had experienced.

" Pupils. This test has most deffinately raised your perception. For instance, many of you, now, will be constantly aware in my prescense. There is always an enemy about. I can tell from your eyes that for many, the enemy is I. "
She couldn't help but smile beneath the mask.
" Many of you passed today, but you failed to realise something. Did i tell you what, exactly , the test was? Look around yourselves. I gave a few a huge hint. Do you see it? Teamates. This test was not only about keeping your gaurd up, but communicating and syncrinizing with your teamates. "

She looked up. The sky had turned a dusky grey, the sun was now hidden. She whistled for Kuro and Haku, who instantly ran to her side.

" You may go to your rooms now. I expect you all here at sfive forty five for your first lesson. Get some sleep, you'll need it. "

That being said, she watched the students depart, and soon began the walk to her own home which lied on the outer edges of the campus, betwwen the sea and moutain. Kuro and Haku trailed her silently.
