"It would be wise to find a teacher... you might think of yourself as a master, but there is a big difference between real skill and the arrogance of youth." Tien said as he rolled up his sleeve and showed Raiden his arm. "I used to be like you... I used to think I could take care of myself. I never thought I would need someone to show me the path to strength." Tien said showing the scars on his arm from where it had been shattered years ago. "When I lost my arm I thought I would have to give up the martial arts... I met a man who taught me to use my body to its fullest potential, despite the fact that my arm doesn't move as well as it should." Tien said as he walked over and inspected Raiden's wounds. "This 'training' that you are pursuing... it is too dangerous. If you want to learn how to get truly strong, seek me out and I will show you the path." Tien said as he walked away and continued his lesson with Ren. Ren was working on his fighting techniques with weights on his wrists and ankles.
Raiden shrugged off the teachers pestering, "I didn't steal, I merely borrowed," he replied his hat still covering his face. "And fatigue is a sign of a hardworking student." Here he stood and adjusted his hat. He turned before the teacher could gaze at his eyes. "Besides, it was time I got up anyway." He walked away from the teacher, passing the training grounds to his personal little garden. The nerve to call me lazy.He began his routine warm up. But instead of working on the arduous exercises, he moved onto some yoga. But this was no ordinary enlightenment exercise. His had found 20-24 different bamboo sticks from the training area where Uchida-sensei was. He figured considering the sea of sticks she had, a few wouldn't be missed. After digging them into the ground, he sought to balance himself on top of the bamboo. Here he practised extremely difficult stances all which caused him to fall and cut himself. Regardless of the cuts and bruises, he continued anyway.

Misaki inclined her head toward her new master and then bowed slightly in greeting to Tien as he commented about her new position.
