The Thing looks cool as hell though if you have the full graphics options turned on. The bump mapping on his skin really stands out.

I have a feeling it is the same story. I have it for PSP and (before the extension pack for 360 came out) there were 4 PSP exclusive characters- Captain Marvel, Ronin, Black Widow and (my favourite) Hawkeye.

The 360 Gold version has the villian/hero pack included already, and I think more total characters. There's only 1-2 PSP exclusive ones, like Genis.

Genis was good, he had quite a cool set of moves with his wristbands and his Ultimate costume looks badass.

I also had the PSP version of XML 2 and the four PSP exclusives for that are Cable, Cannonball, X-man and Dark Phoenix. But what's cooler than that was that XML 2 for PSP has flashback missions like in the first game, but only available on PSP for the 2nd game. They were really good like X-cutioner's song, Age of Apocalypse, Dark Phoenix saga, the first battle between Magneto and the 2nd generation of X-men on Muir Island etc etc

i just finished mephisto's realm last night, and umm... the part i'd mentioned, stygian abyss, where you just get swamped with enemies, yeah, what happened to it? ok, granted im playing on normal rather than hard (which i did on ps2), but two extreme's done at the same time cleared the room...

what the hell... i'd built cyclops up enough so that i was looking forward to testing myself, and then boom, walked it... 🙁

traded hawkeye, and havent used him since, as i got the 5th daredevil figure and i use matt now...

here's my current character select screen (after adding in new characters)

people i've added: Cyclops (for Ms. Marvel), Beast (Moon Knight), Psylocke (Invisible Woman), Juggernaut(Luke Cage). Thats added to Hawkeye, Hulk, Colossus and Moon Knight (who i replaced with Beast)

i also added the skin for the current thor, though it needs a little work with moving the large silver buttons to their proper location...

still looking for yellowjacket, emma frost and shadowcat...

i havent actually played as him, but the word is that he's pretty much identical to how he was in xml 2...

also, i know alot of people don't like colossus, but his grab is one of the sweetest things ever... he doesn't just grab enemies, he picks them up and uses them as melee weapons... imagining beating a soldier to death with one of his comrades... now THAT is sweet...

Well he was pretty useful in XML 2.

His he had some sweet abilities to shield his teammates from attacks. And he could deal lots of damage.

i never really played as him, my bro did, and he seemed pretty happy with him... still prefer colossus though... 😛
