-=- I'm getting a Spider Pet! -=-

More Specifically, a Chilean Rose Tarantula.

I rather them then the climbing PinkToe tarantuals, because there behaviour is more intresting.

Plus they grow big enough to kill a mouse.

CAN'T WAIT to film that.

I REALLY want to see it go hunting down a mouse, rearing up its fangs, and scurrying down, bitting the criter as it injects its venom, slowly the mouse's squeals and useless, weak, efforts to let go die down, as The spider begins to suck on its juices, or wrap it in silk to save it for latter.

Plus, the Chilean has intresting personallities, it can cover the entire surface of the terarium in webbing, then move around the plants in a way it likes best.

It can eat every cricket I give it, then not eat for 7 months (harmless) because it is not in the mood. then eat some, and keep the rest for latter, as it places them in a silk storage.

Allthought there is a chance that the particular spider I chose ends up as a "pet rock", rarely active.

I rather the Chilean over the "classic" mexican Tarantula, becasue the females grow bigger and live longer.

Oh yeah, I am picking up a femalse, seeing as they live 15+ years and grow up to be the size of your hand, if not bigger.

I also chose the Chilean over more "intresting" species, such as the bird-Eating spider, because they are not half as agressive, you can pick them up without the danger of those damned hairs infecting your eyes, mouth and lungs.

Plus its venom (if it ever bits you) is not deadly.... usually.

Where as the Bird Eating can kill you... and everybody in the room.

The "Classic" Mexican Tarantula is the best looking one I think... I like the bright orange on it's legs.

even though I hate spiders, tarantulas are different.. they seem less scary.. maybe because they look fluffy.. shrug

anyways the bird eating one looks a little creepy... because it's less fluffy and looks like a giant version of the 'house' spiders we get here... *shudder*

😆 I dont like spiders ❌ I want to kill them ✅ their legs are either too skinny and ticklish when they're on you or too big fat and hairy ❌ and their webs are so gross with the dead bugs hanging in them ✅

The most oisonous Are Asian Spiders, and any form Of BirdEaters.

How is it possible to hate spiders? I think that they're absolutely gorgeous. They're amazing creatures. You're a lucky person Koala.
