They break free, and Doom gets bullrushed by the team. He starts winning and then inconsistent Sentry grabs him (oh well, Doom will come back with more upgrades to his suit for Sentry, so it really doesn't matter)... 🙁
It also shows what happened last issue... and Doom apparently f*cked Iron Man up pretty bad with that blast.

Hey, I just wanted to know if anyone has uploaded Doom's feat from the Unthinkable arch.

Alright. I've got two months before I start my new job. And I decided that there are several things I'd like to do with my time. Most of those goals involve things absolutely unrelated to comics. But... considering that I do like comics a lot... I decided that one of those projects would be a revamped Dr. Doom thread. So I'm posting this to make an open call to anyone who might have interest in joining me in this endeavor.

I think I can do it on my own as many contributions have already been made in this short, but sweet 5 page respect thread. Mr. Slippyfist, Darthgoober, Onslaughtkills, Janitorjoe and Grimm22 all have posted pages of scans. But what I'm looking to do is make an ordered and slightly comprehensive respect thread for, what is in my opinion, the premier villain of comics. Now, I am probably going to copy the format of Darthgoober's Silver Surfer Respect thread and Jinzin's Wolverine Respect thread, which I feel are very ordered and very comprehensive.

Personally, I think there are people more suited to such an endeavor, but I know for a fact that whenever I'm not trying to learn how to play the guitar or ride a motorcycle or trying to get laid during these two months, I can always come back to this and work on it. If anybody has the great urge and time to head this, I will gladly support their efforts as a contributor. Anybody reading this, give me your thoughts, comments, flames, suggestions, etc. I'm interested in hearing it all. I'm going to PM those who I think would be interested in taking this on and if any sort of collaboration surfaces, I'll keep ya'll updated.

In the meantime, because I don't want to be accused of spamming a respect thread... here are some scans of a fight that I don't believe have been posted yet.

Doom vs Thor. This battle takes place after Thor and Doom are banished from the Heroes Reborn universe and are travelling back to the 616 universe. Here we have Doom taking it straight to Thor. The ensuing battle exhausts both of them. However, by reckon of the second scan, Thor seems to be the worse for wear. That's some pretty darn good armor:

When Doom's armor is repaired, he doesn't mess around. He takes over the entire planet they're on and proceeds to implement his plan. Holding the entire world's population hostage and the obligatory use of a Doombot seems weak...

... but lo and behold, it was all to defeat the true menace that entrapped them both. One of several times that Doom's seemingly evil machinations served the greater good. But don't underestimate Doom's altruism, because while he did save Thor from his exile, he also augmented his own magical prowess by absorbing the sorceress' powers:

Quickie update. I'm burning through comics at a pace faster than I had anticipated. Got about 400 scans which chronicle all of Doom's appearances between 1963 and 1984. I'm about to delve into Secret Wars. Thanks to Onslaughtkills for giving me a few links to all of Doom's appearances. Any other comments, suggestions or offers to help would be much appreciated. Like... obviously, I'll have to resort ot links for the actual respect thread rather than thumbnails like below, but would ya'll prefer double-page splash scans for fights or individual pages?

Anyway, to add to this respect thread in the meantime, here are some scans from one of Doom's penultimate fights against the Fantastic Four from Fantastic Four #200. It's an action-packed fight that demonstrates Doom's formidable battle prowess and is another episode where victory is snatched from his grasp at the last possible moment:

Quickie update. Up to 900 scans from 1963-2008. I've pretty much looked at every single comic he's ever appeared in. No joke. I'm just looking for a few comics that have escaped my grasp, mainly from 2000-forward. 600 of those scans are fights. Which wasn't my intention, but I'll be damned if he hasn't had some classic confrontations. I'm thinking of going double-page splashes for the fight scans which would reduce it down to 300 links. Fact is, hosting them on imageshack might take forever. I have little experience with imageshack... but anybody know if there is a streamlined process for uploading them to imageshack? I only know how to do it one by one. If it requires an account, anybody got an account I could use?

Anyway, my internet is kinda screwy, otherwise I would add some more scans. Once my internet is completely restored, I'll post some of Doom's feats from the Unthinkable story arc in this thread as an addition.

going by all we've seen its little wonder that Doom is the second most potent sorcereor on earth... so he time traveled to study inder caglistro, and le fay, plus his armor's on board computers recorded some of the spells of the other magicians during the SS competiton.. he absorbed that lady's magic and.......and!! as we've seen in the last Doom IM series he got a hold of a spell book thats on par with the darkhold.....that means that as soon as strange slips Doom will secure the number one spot

Nope. That is actually in one of Dr. Strange's most popular storylines. Though Doom admittingly never matched up to Strange.
