1) Wolverine being in cage fights was not the point. It was that Wolverine was fighting in dangerous illegal fights long before Cap was born.
2) Wolverine was never even hit by Smitty, who was the best fighter there, so he obviously didn't use his healing factor to win.
3) You obviously didn't read the book because Wolverine won 2 fights before he fought Smitty, and then beat Dog after he fought Smitty.
Yeah and we see the guy with 30 wins beat the guy with 6 wins a hell of a lot more often. Honestly...
And wolverine beat those guys because he was physically all of their superiors, it wasnt fair in any way, and wolverine won on insitinct alone, because before he got all "macho" he was getting his ass handed to him by a fat cook.
