ufc/pride

I don't see it happening. They're trying to keep them as seperate entities, thus need different images, regardless of adhering to the Nevada Sporting Commision rules now. However I do agree the UFC fighters or Pride Fighters stepping into an alternate setting can be an advantage/disadvantage for given fighters.

So, who's Fedor's next victim?
Given that his contract with Pride is expired currently.... no one really good, I take it. He's just doing freelance stuff I think.

I think their trying to keep Herring from being a top HW at this point.Hope he wins though just to piss them off.I like big Nog alot though too.

I like 2 see HH get the upset.

Fedor needs to fight Barnett, Couture, Kharitonov, Cro Cop (again), and Gonzaga (only if he defeats Couture).

hopefully we get to see all these match ups.

Herring has weird kicks. he doesn't throw the traditional muay thai or kickboxing kicks. looks like a tae kwon do kick or something. anyone notice this as well?

I said as I read your post I could picture his kicks in my head.Did he take TKD?I like both fighters alot, but this fight is very premature. If they wanted, they could probably set Heith and Nog to be the two top contenders for the HW title.

i dont think Herring has any TKD experience unless someone can clarify this. all i know is Herring is a Wrestling and Sambo background.

Did it?
I thought he was just fighting in Bodog, and Pride.

I also thought that was why Minitauro and Cro Cop left... because they knew they wouldn't taste the belt under his reign...

Cro Cop left, but he was planning on returning. UFC was paying more $.

Big Nog left because he had no one else to face. Brazilian Top Team was very pissed when he left. I heard Murilo Bustamante actually challenged Big Nog to a match or something like that.

Okay.So we got Royce vs saku 2 and Broc Lessner making his MMA debut in K1 Dynamite.I think i'm already more hyped about this than i am the next UFC.

I think Royce vs Saku 2 will be alright.I don't think Royce could win in a definate way.I think the best possible outcome for Royce would be a close decison in his favor. If Saku take it,I think it will be by TKO or possibly KTFO of Royce. While they say Sakuraba doesn't like to finish his fights violently, his time training with shooteboxe did improve his striking.

WHo do you guys give the fight to?

i cant wait for Royce vs Sakuraba 2. the first was awesome. both corners were about to throw the towel in. i got my money on Saku for sure, but it would be awesome to see Royce Gracie defeat the Gracie Hunter. i really doubt it though. Saku is training with Chute Boxe Camp.

they respect each other, so im sure it will be a decision. i dont see these guyz tapping out.

I'm giving it to Sakuraba. Although, I used to be a Sakuraba fanboy back in the day so I may be a bit biased. I will cheer for Sakuraba whether he wins or looses though.

Sak will take it, he's evolved more than Royce. Anything can happen in a fight though.

LOL.After CC's devistating loss to Gonzaga,I predict Royce will win with a liver kick in round 2!

Okay, that was a bit much but you gottat admit that the world of MMA has been kind of turned upside down lately.

Anyone got some predictions for Iceman VS Rampage 2?

I want to say Iceman but Rampage should have this one no contest

here is my prediction for the fight.

Rampage is gonna throw some leg kicks (that's what he has been training for), force Chuck's cardio to come into play cuz Rampage's cardio right now is at PERFECT. he's gonna throw more legs kicks with jabs/swings, and finish chuck off with a TKO.

my call^

Very true.

As for Rampage vs Chuck, I'm still undecided. I think Rampage can do it and I give him the edge, but I still Chuck has a decent shot at beating Rampage too.

I like them both though too, but I'll root for Rampage.

I hope Chuck will win, but I just don't know... especially looking at all the champs get their asses handed to them in UFC...

Also, judging by the Silva/Rampage fight, Chuck could easily win, but he's just so damn sloppy, if only he worked on that a bit...

Here's a cool hl someone on MMAplayground made

MMA is the hardest sport to predict... There's so many ways to lose. I think Chuck will keep his belt. The dude hits like a truck, great chin, and sprawl. He's on top of his game right now. Rampage has the tools though, he can take it. Just watched their Pride fight lastnight... I don't think Rampage is that same fighter, but time will tell.
