NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its ok Fedor had a great legendary run for close to almost 10 years. I don't think will ever see another fighter like him again up until evolution happens again.

Really impressed with Fedor, even with the L.

For those that missed it. Antonio had the advantage on the stand up with his reach. Plus Antonio Silva used tons of friggin head movement to avoid Fedors bombs(I for one did not expect that from a guy with somewhat Giant Syndrome). He really came in prepared for this. Fedor showed a lot of heart and took a lot of damage.

The ground.

Take Down:

Next lost and he gets cut from SF. He'll end up in the UFC sooner or later.

I''ll bet that Anderson Silva would beat him. Silva around 220 or so and Fedor drops some, it could happen.

I doubt Fedor will go to UFC at this point.

Anyway, he actually looked good but Silva was definitely ready. I'm afraid Fedor just can't keep up with the behemoth heavyweights running around anymore.

It's a shame because we'll never see Fedor Prime vs Overeem or Barnett now.

Kharitonov had a good showing. It's a shame Arlovski can't take a punch. He has better head movement honestly, but Kharitonov only needed one opening.

Fedor would kill him. They're both roughly the same size, only difference being Fedor didn't have the luxury of fighting guys at 185 pounds. He was a midget heavyweight, probably a natural light heavyweight, and was beating the crap out of guys waaayyyy bigger than him. Last night, Silva had a 55 pound weight advantage over him. That's absolutely crazy. Only in the heavyweight division could that happen.

Pound for pound, I doubt anybody could replicate what Fedor has done in his career.

Dana said Fedor is never welcome to the UFC. But Dana says alot of things lol

And let's not forget, when was the last time Fedor had an advantage in size? Probably against Fujita? I could be wrong.

If he wants to come over, Dana wont say no. Hes likes the money too much.

I agree what people are saying. M1 took the best years of Fedor fight years away from him. A fighter must be fighting more then once a year to stay sharp and fit. Too much lax time is bad.

Prime Fedor and 2011 Fedor are two different people. His mind is fighting his own body to repeat what he used to do in his prime. In both of these he's exactly 230 lbs. One version has more muscle speed, the fastest heavy weight bar none on the planet with explosions never seen before. The other is a mere shadow of what he once used to be.

Brock was in his prime before he lost to Cain.

Brock never had a prime. He's a glorified Tom Erikson.

😱

Overeem said it perfectly.

On point.

Speaking of Overeem, he also thinks that Shogun will beat Jones.

http://www.fiveknuckles.com/mma-news/Alistair-Overeem-not-on-Jon-Jones-hype-train,-predicts-Shogun-will-retain-his-belt.html

"No I don't think so," said Overeem. "Shogun has been through a lot, seen a lot. He's a very clever fighter but so is Jon Jones, not to take anything away from him. Jon Jones in my opinion is a little bit more athletic. But I think Shogun, he's a clever guy, strategic guy, good stand up, good ground, aggressive. He's going to put pressure and I think he's going to get Jon Jones."

I want Overeem in the UFC. UFC needs more LHW and HW.

Unfortunate for fedor But it's time for the goat to retire. I had money on big foot at 3 to 1 odds so Im happy he won from a financial standpoint but its sad to see such a legendary fighter get demolished. It would be sad to see him rack up more losses before hanging it up.He's definitely noticeably deteriorated and it's apparent that he isn't the top heavyweight in strike force anymore let alone the world. He's gotten nothing to prove to anyone, his career is the best we've ever seen. Time to go be a coach or something.

I can't say I didn't warn you guys, when I posted that pictures from prime Pride Fedor and current Fedor...

And yeah, Shogun will beat Jones, that's my bet for sure

I really hope so but Shogun's year lay off and knee injury might play a big part. Remember the Forrest fight? And how terrible he looked against Mark Coleman?

Both those fights he had a year long lay off due to his knee injury and now I'm afraid history is repeating itself 🙁

I hope Shogun still wins it though. But Jon is no joke.

No it's not easy, but against Forrest he was just fighting for the money really, now he is fighting for the title.
