Oh, I see. sneer I haven't seen much evidence of Okami's improved wrestling since that fight. He was tossed around like a slut against Chael (no real shame in that), but he was also out-wrestled by a guy who, on paper, has lesser credentials than he does: Marquardt. And Rich beat up Hamill, who's a better wrestler than Okami. As far as Okami's striking is concerned, he still has rudimentary boxing skills at best. Rich is leagues above him to this day.

Anderson vs Shogun would be one hell of a fight. Rampage I think would honestly get mauled on the feet anyway Anderson wants and I think he'd beat Machida. Rashad though would be a tougher fight. But if it was a five rounder I'd favor Anderson highly for the ko cuz of rash ads seemingly questionable gas tank and suspect chin. He almost got put out in both the rampage and thiago silva fights.

Who you got in jones vs shogun? Surprised to see everyone writing shogun off just because jones beat Ryan bader a one dimensional wrestler with a non existent back game. If shogun comes in at 100 percent, I got him winning this via ko or leg lock.

Anderson vs Rashad is much better than Rampage.

Rua near stomps Jones.

Even at Couture's age, I think he would still give Anderson Silva a hell of a fight, since Randy is fighting at LHW again.

I don't think Rampage is at a stylistic disadvantage against Anderson, and I feel that Rampage is being severly undercut here. Everyone thought he'd get mauled against Machida too.

As for Jones vs Shogun, it should be telling at least. Jones is talented, but Shogun is on an entirely different level than Jones's opponents thus far. Jones winning wouldn't surprise me, but Shogun is my pick if he is in peak form.

Rampage and Belfort are similar with their striking both have good hands, Rampage doesnt even know to throw a kick, Belfort does. And look how well he did. He got caught.

You have to take Silva down. You cannot stand up with this man.

My friend has trained with Rampage prior to Eastman fight. He has great leg kicks, just chooses not to use in his arsenal.

Hmm, id say he sort of is. Unless rampage rediscovers his wrestling and goes the chael sonnen rout he has a very high chance of being demolished against Anderson. Anderson and machida are two completely different beasts. Machida is more passive than Anderson and doesnt ko people nearly as much. Anderson has way more tools on the feet and is deadly in the clinch which we have seen rampage succumb to on more than one occassion.

Most people AS fought did better than Vitor, also Rampage is a counter puncher more than Vitor.

^ I dont know about rampage having better boxing than vitor. ANd yeah he did take machida down once iirc but from what i remember that was pretty much it as far as that was concerned and it was largely a striking match. But yeah if he does decide to use the wrestling strategy then he has better chances. On the feet though he is really outclassed.
