Yeah, pretty impressive performance from both, although I was especially impressed with Conor. He was able to pace himself this time, and pull out the win. The first two rounds were particularly good for him. Nate was getting lit up early.
Also, Rumble's fight makes me sad we haven't gotten to see him vs Jones yet.
I can't fault someone for giving Nate the nod. I sided with McGregor but it was close. I just place a lot of importance on the knockdowns in a close fight like that.
As for Jones, I'm curious if it was a case of tainted supplements like with Tim Means. Well, USADA said it was tainted supps anyway. Guess it's impossible to know 100%.
Wonderboy vs Tyrone Woodley was confirmed. LOL @ Woodley for thinking he draws enough for a money fight with GSP or an easy matchup with Nick Diaz.

Wait McGregor/Alvarez was confirmed? Nurmagomedov is going to be piiiiiiiiiiissed.
Edit: Just checked, and you're right. Conor transcends time and space.

As good as he is, Aldo was never a draw. I'm honestly not sure that rematch will ever happen. Conor has turned into such a unique animal, he could vacate the title and still make tons of money. I really don't think he cares about the belt.
Lesnar was just getting paid too imo. I doubt he cares about improving his stand up enough to become a legit contender again.
Not that I blame him of course. He's cashing in millions without even being in title contention.
Out of curiosity, who would people have as the best strikers in the UFC at the moment?
My list, in no particular order:
Rumble Johnson
Wonderboy Thompson
Edson Barboza
Jose Aldo
Anthony Pettis
Conor McGregor
Max Holloway
Dominick Cruz
TJ Dillashaw
Demetrious Johnson
Doesn't really feel all that long ago that Anderson Silva was still on top and seemed pretty much invincible. 🙁
