Tim Sylvia, and Nogueira are 2 likely fighters.
I would like it to be Tim Sylvia. So Cro Cop can knowck his ass out. Then again after 2 straight loses im not too hopeful for Cro Cop.
Yep. He went in the ring & hugged Silva after he beat up Franklin last time. Silva got his BJJ black belt from them. F.Shamrock got Hendo in a grappling only match too. Just saw it. Didn't order the last UFC, but Hendo vs Silva is a must buy. Does bodogfight still come on? Haven't seen it in a while. Wanted my Dad to see Fedor fight Lindland. You guys see Fedor on Human Weapon's Sambo ep.?

Originally posted by wuTahe's fighting Joe Stevenson at UFC 80. IMO, Penn is overrated. every site i check, he's in top 5 P4P. he's a very skilled fighter but his performance hasn't been as great as people say it should be. i got Stevenson winning this via Decision.
Anyone know when Bj Penns next UFC fight?
he's younger, more dedicated from what i've seen, and has the talent and potential to be one of the best LW's.
Gonzaga vs Werdum is also on the UFC 80 fight card. Fight can go either way, i'll be cheering for Werdum.
UFC 79
GSP def Hughes via TKO round 3
GSP doesn't have enough time to train as their second fight but i still think he has the skills and athleticism to defeat Hughes.
Machida def Sokoudjou via TKO
Sokoudjou is gonna look for the quick KO, and Machida in my opinion is the smartest fighter next to Fedor. He's gonna have a gameplan and i just think he's going to dominate)
Wanderlei def Liddell via TKO
Both are going to come out swinging. Wanderlei's at Couture's gym, and that's going to be a big factor in this fight. Liddell is planning on training with Paulo Filho (not sure if it's going to happen) but i dont see how this fight will go to the ground.
UFC 81
Frank Mir vs Brock Lesnar
this is going to be VERY interesting. i'll be cheering for Mir. How do you guyz see the outcome?
Originally posted by brainchild81Wandy said he only used roids once to get bigger cuz he was a small LHW. That was years ago.
Want Brock to win, but I'm not sure if he's ready for someone like Mir yet. Penn's great. His conditioning is his only real weakness most of the time. As long as he doesn't get tired, he should beat Joe. GSP will beat Matt. Not sure 'bout Wandy's toughness w/out the 'roids.
if he did continue, it will definitley effect his performance.
About Penn... He is a great fighter, but he is a tad overrated as of right now. He has had a few setbacks that has hurt him, but it looks like he's back on track where he needs to be. As long as he stays focused he should be back at the top in no time.
I say Liddell TKO's Wandy. You know Wandy is going to try and replicate the Jardine fight, with leg kicks, but I think Liddell will find a way to counter them (i.e superman punch). It will be interesting fight for sure, but I have Liddell.
I have GSP over Hughes, but I think this fight is going to be alot closer than the last two.

This sport is SO damn boring. Whats entertaining about watching guys sitting on top of each other through an entire match?I like how people say this sport is more punishing than boxing.
here's a fight from PrideFC
anyway, i prefer K1 Kickboxing over Boxing and MMA. it's just more entertaining IMO.
all are great sports but Boxing is far more harmful to the fighters health than MMA.
K1 might be better on average, not sure, but when all are @their best there's no combat sport better than MMA IMO

That's why they bumped his ass off of PPV. You see the better MMA matches & you'll probably be entertained. However, H.A. is right. It's not 4everyone

Very true.I've been far more bored watching some boxing matches than I have watching MMA.
not counting the upcoming fights (hatton vs mayweather, UFC 79 etc...) what was the best fight so far this year?
i have to go with Masato vs Buakwaw II
the entire event was incredible but the crowd went insane for this rematch.
