Lesnar was definitely more cautious in this fight. i was surprised that he didn't land more shots in when he mounted Herring. He also needs to improve his Jiu-Jitsu skills, I saw only one submission attempt from him . Though his main style is obviously ground and pound.I hope that GSP vs Penn will happen this year around Christmas time. Would they make that a WW title fight? I hope GSP wins, I don't like BJ's attitude towards his opponents.
Penn was winning last time until he gassed. Since then, BJ's improved his cardio & GSP's improved everything. Should be a good one.

Originally posted by Elite HunterI do. He sounds funny & I've only noticed him talking shit @people he didn't like or think cheated(Sherk)
I just don't like the way he trash talks a lot
Originally posted by Elite Hunter (nor did I like Lesnar's either even though I'm a fan of his)He was a pro-wrestler. Can't blame him for talking shit. Really glad to see him get a W over someone legit.
Originally posted by Elite Hunter and besides the fact that I am a BIG GSP fan and I hope he kicks Penn's @$$. I can't wait to see the fight should be one of the best.I want Penn to win, but if GSP does win he should breakdance like he used to(check out last part of vid) YouTube video

That's a dumb reason to hate the guy. Yeah he's been a pro-wrestler, but now he's in real fights & at least he has the heart to compete for real. What's wrong w/people?
You should read some of the stuff on some of the MMA forums. I just typed in his name earlier on to see other opinions on his fight and some people just rip into him. Some like me understand why he did it but don't like it too much(i'm still a fan of his), while others just bash him and want him out of the sport.
Originally posted by wuTaI like the fact that Lesnar is such an incredible wrestler and has adapted fairly quickly into the middle-tier heavyweights. I don't like the fact that he showboats and does all these ridiculous things. Pointing and laughing at your opponent after the fight is very unsportsmanlike. He had Heaths back and was riding him like a cowboy on a horse. Not necessary since Heath didn't even discredit Lesnar in any aspect.
I think a lot of MMA fans don't like Lesnar because he never worked his way to to the top, he just walked in and is getting main card status and money. Penn is the only one with the tools to challenge GSP, the sooner they fight the better, but you got to give it to Jon Fitch that dude is a warrior.
and LOL @ Herring getting poked in the eye by Dan Mirgliotta. He is probably the worse referee in MMA. Pokes someone in the eye, calls off fights prematurely, raises the losers hand instead of the victors, doesn't go backstage prior to fight to explain rules to both fighters etc...
as for Penn vs GSP II, it's a tough call. I give it to GSP right now. I dont see him getting submitted that easily, and on the feet i can see it going either way. GSP has quick jabs, and Penn is a bit more unpredictable with his striking. He can attack at all angles. GSP keeps it to single style of striking and rarely switches it up. His superman punch leg kick combo's won't work against Penn.
GSP has been more active as well fighting the tougher competition. I see the GSP/Penn fight very much like their first fight. Close and ends in a decision or late stoppage of some kind.
GSP via Decision or Penn via Sub round 4

Really? Kimbo is fighting Ken Shamrock, well I couldnt be any more not interested. You have one fighter who is just a bar brawler bully with no mma skills at all, and you have another fighter who is so far past his prime that he hasnt had a descent victory against a skilled fighter in like roughly 4 years. They should bill this fight as No Skills Vs Old Skills 🙂

I hope Ken wins because if he doesn't EliteXc is gonna be really promoting Kimbo beating a UFC Hall of Famer. But isn't Shamrock and a losing streak?
If Kimbo wins, EliteXC will milk the victory to no end. Dana wont be happy with that!
