UFC89 on Spike right now

I knew Jardine would win. Bisping went for a decision. Lame. He didn't seem to be trying to finish the fight. He said he's not ready for a title fight & he isn't. Silva would kill him.

UFC 89 was horrible. besides the Lytle fight, the rest were boring.

I didn't even bother catching this UFC. Whenever the headliner is Bisping vs Leben, you know you won't miss much.

i knew Jardine vs Vera would be a boring fight.

Jardine coming off a devastating loss was obviously going to look gun shy, and Vera hasn't looked good since his Sylvia fight.

but i recommend the Lytle fight. that was very entertaining.

Cote's leg got fuked up

I felt bad for Cote. He was doing pretty well and his leg just gave out.

My personal favorite fight of the night was Koscheck vs Alves. Excellent show for Josh considering he only had 2 weeks prior notice that he was to fight Alves. I want to see a rematch at some point.

If it is the same "ring rust" that he had when he beat the hell out of Tim Sylvia, Brock's in a lot of trouble. Couture wins this by submission. I won't be mad if Brock wins. He could pull an upset however unlikely.

Dana White will be disappointed in the number of ppv buys, he said he was expecting 1.2 million. I was thinking about buying the ppv but I'm not too impressed with the undercard so I'll save my money for the UFC 92 which has a better card. I don't care either way who wins the fight tomorrow night but I expect it to go at least 3 rounds.

I was thinking the same thing. Besides the 2 main fights, there aint much going on. He's probably expecting people to buy it just for the main event. Then again, Brock's WWE fan base will make up the numbers hes expecting.

As for the PPV, I don't think I'll order it. I try to support MMA but, Dana gives me little incentive to pay for events sometimes. UFC could put on much better cards than they do. I'll catch it online.

Yep. He's legit now. GREAT wrestling & good striking. Seems like he could have better cardio though
