A few characters theorized that he draws from far more than the yellow sun when doing it as well. Mongul for example, when training Superman for Our Worlds at War, seemed to note this long before it was told to the readers. He believed Superman draws upon infinite energy based upon his desire to win, to accomplish pretty much any task.
Pretty much as the Crisis went on, our Superman was getting stronger and stronger and stronger. Mxy even before the Crisis kept putting Superman through hell... Superman saw all kinds of death and destruction around him that he could do nothing about.... He was on an insane level.

History in the DC universe has changed slightly, no one knows it, lots of costumes have changed (like MM, Robin, CM), Oracle is again Batgirl/err woman (or so it seems) and the costume looks alot like batman beyonds, ion is back, the speed force may NOT be gone (?) considering that there are two flashes in the page, and what the hell is tangent universe?
anything else I missed?

And the story itself is one of rebuilding by the feel that I get so far. I don't remember too much of the Tangent Universe, its been years since I read it... most all I can recall is the badass wonder woman issue where she gets lost in a thought of what existance is for half the issue, while battling off a host of baddies, then erases them from existance, and anyone that was outside of the bubble that was set up as the 'battlefield' forgot they even existed.
