Tutoring Continued………
"Remus?" Jen said that morning in Common Room. Again, she had woken up early to talk to Remus.
"Morning." Remus looked up.
"Remus, I don't think you should tutor me anymore." She said looking utterly upset.
"Whoa, one lesson and you already know the subject?" he said playfully.
"No, I'm still clueless but Josh doesn't want me to have tutor." She took a breath, "He thinks I'm cheating on him with you."
"He thinks you're cheating on him, with me? Didn't you tell him about me and tutoring?" Remus sounded surprised.
She nodded, "But he didn't believe me"
"Well I could talk to him for you." He said.
"No! That'll make things worse!" Jen said quickly.
"Is everything okay?" he asked suspiciously.
"Yeah, Josh just has a… temper."
"He should trust you though."
"I know he's just being careful." She sighed.
He squinted his eyes with the same look of suspicion. He looked down at her wrist.
"He's hurting you, isn't he?" he mumbled with shock.
"Pardon?" Jen said worried.
"Josh is hurting you, that's how you hurt your wrist, not by tripping!"
"No….No that’s not true!" she said disbelievingly.
"Yes it is, Jen. Why didn't you tell me or anyone?"
"I…..I…." she stuttered.
"Jen you can't be treated that way! It's just wrong! You're better than that! You're better than him!"
"I don't know what to do! He got mad because I said you were better at Potions than he was!" she said shakily,
"You're going to break up with him today, that's what you're going to do." He said.
She nodded and he walked away to catch up with his friends for breakfast.
Like the usual, the girls took their seats next to the Marauders in the Great Hall.
"Oi Remus, I have this friend who wants to ask someone out but they don't know how to do it. What do I tell 'em?" James asked
"This is what I'm good for." Remus whispered to Jen. She laughed.
"Okay James, first tell me who this friend is then I'll help you." Remus said simply.
"Oh you don't know him." James replied.
"James, I know it's you. Who do you want to ask out?" Remus said.
"Never mind I'll just do it myself." He said frustrated and turned to Sirius who was across from him.
"Sirius, I know we've been friends for a very long time but I'm ready to go past that. Will you marry me?" James said batting his eye lashes.
"Sod off!" Sirius said and crossed his arms. Everyone was laughing now.
"Some 4th year came up to him this morning and proposed out of nowhere." James explained.
"I'll be right back." Jen said suddenly spotting Josh at the Great Hall entrance.

"Listen," Remus said beckoning the Marauders and Jen's friends to come closer, "Josh is abusing her."
Lily gasped.
"But she told us they were fine!" Alice said aloud.
"Shhh!" Remus put his finger to his mouth, "She just told me this morning. I told her to break up with him and I think that's what she's doing right now. She's not to confident so I brought the Invisibility Cloak just in case."
"Hey I was looking for that this morning!" James said.
"You have an Invisibility Cloak?" Lily asked.
"James will explain while I'm gone." Remus said as James gave him a glare. As he walked over he notice they had moved to a corner so no one unexpected would find them. When Remus was sure Jen, Josh or anyone in fact could see him he quickly covered himself with the cloak. He walked over and stayed close enough to them so he could hear them closely.
"So did you break up with Lupin?" Josh asked harshly.
"Yes, I told him he shouldn't tutor me anymore." Jen replied.
"Then why were you laughing at him earlier?" he asked
"Because he said something funny." She said in a that's-obvious tone.
"Don't give me cheek!" he said pushing her into the wall with almost enough force to knock the wind out of her.
"Josh, I've had enough! I don't want to be your girlfriend anymore!" she said her voice rising.
"Oh, I think you do." He said approaching as she cowered in fear.
Remus threw off the Invisibility Cloak, "Don't touch her!" he yelled.
Josh turned around and then looked at Jen again.
"Oh, so you got Lupin to be your hero?"
"No, she didn't tell me to do anything, but I believe she told you to leave her alone." He said calmly.
"What make you think you can tell me what to do, Lupin?" Josh spat.
"I think Jen is perfectly fine running her own life, Josh! And if you don't stand at least ten feet away from her I guarantee the next day you'll have boils the size of galleons where the sun don't shine!" he yelled and walked off with Jen beside him.
