I dont disagree with you dude.

All Im saying is that its going to be interesting to see and any of the teams could win the division. But I dont think Staley is really going to make a difference for the team. Branch definitly, but I think Staley wont make a difference. They're must be a reason for the Steelers cut him.

I know you weren't disagreeing with me, I was just saying that, not really talking to one person.

Why did the Steelers cut him?

Cool.

Dont know. Injury prone and maybe hasnt got anything left because of the injuries.

Baltimore

Call me crazy, but I think the Ratbirds will finish higher than the Bungholes in 2006, and it ain't just 'cause of McNair. Okay, maybe it is. The level of receiving play will elevate from Mason (especially) and those other schmucks they got like Clayton who have been moonlighting as NFL players in recent times.

Jamal Lewis is an exceptional #2 RB in a Fantasy League, which means, he ain't that bad after all. Mark my words, Todd Heap will finally pass Tony Gonzalez this year in terms of popularity. He can thank McNair, who made Frank Wycheck a household name for anyone who knew anything about the NFL during the late '90's and early 00's.

I'm not going to mention anything about the defense because that's never the issue with this team. With Suggs, Reed, and Bart Scott...oh, and who could forget Ray-Ray? I'll bet a dozen people in Atlanta on the night of Super Bowl XXXIV won't.

Brian Billick - this may be the his last chance as his Super Bowl exemptions may finally be running out. Also another thing about this team: Yes, I realize how many home games each team gets, but it just seems to me that every time I watch a Ratbird game, they're at home!!!! (and I watch them alot!)

Prediction: 9-7 #6 seed in playoffs by virtue of tiebreaker

In honor of today's team, a pic from Dork2net.org.com Stadium:

todd heap will be way better than gonzo this year. Titans threw to their TE's last year more than any other team.

Also Greg Jones is out for the year

Eagles got Donte' Stallworth from the New Orleans Saints in exchange for six-year veteran linebacker Mark Simoneau and a conditional fourth-round draft pick in 2007.

Raiders signed the 85 year old Jeff George. He hasnt played in a game in like 5 years and hasnt really played in 6-7 years. A lot of faith in aaron brooks i guess.

Oh and the titans signed Kerry collins

oh TO missed his 20th practice, skiped a team meeting which was mandatory, and came late to an offensive team meeting

Hmm...new prediction.

Packers, NFC North champs.

Not joking. 😐

I guarentee he doesn't play AT LEAST the first game.

Hahahah. Whatever.

Who cares if he does or does not. The Dallas Cowboys are perfectly capable of playing without TO, and I dont think TO not playing or creating a fuss (which he isnt) is really going to effect the team.

He missed the practices because of an injury. Same as Smith and Hines Ward. Actually, it was the same injury.
People are just looking at him because he is TO. That's it. If this was a guy who missed a practice that wasnt TO, people wouldnt even care. It's all the media right now.

yea but the meetings he missed cause hes a deuche bag

Yeah, I take this back. The whole thing. Forever.

😮

UGHHH, I'm just sick of the TO coverage. ESPN is treating TO like 9/11 or something. "OMG OMG OMG, TO MISSED PRACTICE, IT'S THE MOST AMAZING STORY SINCE WWII!!! TO HAS MISSED PRACTICE!!!"

That really turns me off to sports because to me, that kind of shit ESPN is doing is more of an Access Hollywood or Extra! kind of thing, not a sports network.

He has missed one practice. Thats it.

What ESPN doesnt tell you is that TO has been teaching some of the young WR like Hurd how to be better WR.

I just think if this was anybody else it wouldnt be a problem. He missed an practice, but the injury thing...thats just training camp. Whats the point of injuring a player before the season on a injury thats one of those nagging ones that need time to heal.

If opening day was this Sunday, TO would be on the field, playing.

You never know, he might do the same thing again, but the Cowboys wil still be in the running for the playoffs without him, and because he has just joined the team and there is a very good core group with Williams, Newman and all those guys, the Cowboys will still be good.

People say that because of TO, the Eagles didnt do so well last year. It wasnt because of him, it was because of the QB being injured all year, all the injuries and that the East teams became very good.

EDIT: Just read the press conference with TO and Dallas. No problems at all. Just missed an practice. Players do that all the time. Has anybody ever been late to work?

Yes, McNabb being injured was a big part of it, but TO had a big effect on the team to. There is no way you can deny that.

Also, Eagles get Dante Stallworth for Simoneu. I like the trade. But I wonder if this trade means they won't go after Branch.

it is hard to say that TO is not a d-bag because he is late for rehab and missing meetings. he will play because of jerry jones. TO is ruining his career and doesn't know it.

he has missed 20 practices.. meetings are a different story.

i got the cowboys vs the chiefs in the superbowl...

No, he was injured for those 20 practices.. he has missed one where he wasnt injured. They're is a big difference.

So he missed one meeting. If this was Tom Brady, would everybody be complaing? No.

My point is that people are looking into this TO thing way too much. They're over analyzing way too much.
Isnt the majority of things TO has done was complaing about players, coaches, etc, etc? Has he done that yet? No.

Dan, I do agree that TO was a good reason, but if McNabb, thier secondary, Westbrook and a couple of others werent injured, I still think the Eagles would of alteast had a chance of making the playoffs.
