oh on that same QB note.. looks Bledsoe really is in good form still right? I believe my comments about him really falling off towards the end of last year might have been right on. After the first 5 passes of the game he looked like a bag of garbage.

well the first 2 was to Owens, which he should have done more often. i still think Dallas is goin to the Superbowl, after all it was only week one. Dallas line sucks ass, which means they need a mobile QB, i say switch to romo whatever his name is, i hear he can scramble.

actually jags didnt get to bledsoe too much, he had a good bit a time very often. But yea bledsoe is a statue back there. Did you guys see peyton scrambling last night? he was rolling out and all kinds of shit he does whatever it takes to make that happen. If brunell can be healthy the skins have a better team on all sides of the ball than dallas and both QB's are the question marks, so id still put Skins on top of dallas right now. And the Giants have looked the best so far. I think dallas will finish 3rd at best in the NFC east

oh and who kept saying Nate Burelson was gonna be the beast in seattle? I tried tellin people hasselbeck loves bobby Engram.. and now with Branch... while Jackson is healthy Burelson is the 4th option. But what a sweet WR core this is

did it say they gave up a 1st round draft pick for him???? if so that was dumb, a 1st round draft pick for Branch, im sorry but to me that sounds crazy!!!

yea next years first round pick and its really not that dumb. Seattle is poised to win now not in a coupld years. Hasselbeck is in his prime give him every weapon you can. Also that will (in all likely hood) be pick #24 or later so its not gonna be a high first rounder. The way Holmgren looks at using draft picks is this. Would I use that pick to draft this player next year? and he would draft Deion Branch with a late first round pick so it is worth the exchange.

Kurt Warner. MVP #3.

...

Not joking.

😐

Whats so crazy about it? Deion branch is a proven offensive weapon in the NFL who hitting his prime and by the way in two superbowl appearances has 21 catches and a superbowl Mvp I will take a proven commodity over a draft pick all day.

Forumcrew is right on Seattle is built to win now thats why there willing to give up a draft pick who could workout or be a bust or take two years or so to develop for a proven productive wideout who has been in big games and in this era of rule changes small and fast wideouts dominate the nfl and are invaluable its a good move..

im so damn dumb for startin Green over Warner!!!! i hope Green makes a speedy recovery, i seen the hit live i was worried, not only because hes quarterbackin 3 of my 5 fantasy teams but because i was generally concerned for him. SMH @ Alexander. lovin how Baltimore gave me all those points but hardly enough to make up for Green and Alexander. Im hopin since i have T.O. and Randy Moss that i can dominate throughout the whole season. Looks like Bush will gettin used a lot more so im glad i took him in the 2nd round(heeeee Im a USC guy). Chiefs Looked pretty bad even when they had Green. I still think they're goin to the Superbowl and SMH @ Larry Johnson and the CHiefs offense. Maybe the Bengals scoring D just got really good. Lovin the Cardinals, I have them winning their division. I did underestimate Baltimores Offense, I change my pick from The Patriots makin the playoffs to Baltimore, only if in my prior picks i picked Miami to make it from that division. I dont understand how they are using Vince Young. Cowboys need either a QB change or a QB change....T.O. was brilliant in his Cowboys debut, Loved him on the sideline keepin the teams hopes for a win up. If the Cowboys are # 1 in the NFC and he puts up big numbers i think he will win The MVP, if Johnson plays like he did in the opener all season and the Colts line has Peyton scramblin all season long.

wow you changed topics so many times without you know maybe a space? First of all I think you just picked KC to go to the superbowl after being owned by cinci.. interesting.

Why you would start Green when you have Warner with one of the best
passing games in the NFL against one of the worst defenses in the NFL is well um stupid.

I think you also just put miami/NE/Baltimore in the same division.. its sorta hard to tell. NE/Miami/Jets/Buff is the AFC North; Bmore/Cinci/Pitt/Cleveland is the AFC East so what Bmore does doesnt effect NE making the playoffs unless you think they will be fighting for the second WC spot or something...

I dont understand your one sentence on vince young. They dont except to win a championship this year they are trying to get ready to do that in the near furutre. To do this they want to get Young a little game time experience here and there to give him a feel for the game to get him read to take over. What I dont get is why they havnt traded Volek yet.

T.O. was good (when hasnt he been good?) the league will never give TO the mvp though unless he has about 1,500 yards and 17 TD's and Dallas takes the division.. then they might not have a choice but they will be so against giving it to him and there gonna that other guy who it would always be easy to give it to.. peyton manning.

Parcells is big on Bledsoe and the Jags have a SICK D. Remember Seattle got beat pretty good week 1 @ the jags last year too and they ended up in the superbowl. Romo may get his shot but not yet.

Your last sentence is where im really lost. Which Johnson did you start talking about out of no where? Cant be anyone on the Cowboys or Colts which are the teams your talking about... Peyton did fine and the line was alright. The Giants have an INSANE pass rush they protected him pretty good in the grand scheme of things.

I dont really mean to flame you here. It is just that you make a lot of comments and a lot of them are confusing or just dont seem thought out at all. Like why did you think the Branch deal was bad? And like your playoff predicitons a while ago where you clearly didnt even know how many teams make it and what the divisions are. You should practice the art of DD my friend.

My one friend loves me because I told him to start Warner over Jake Delhomme (in another league from mine).

Warner is going to tear sh*t up with that WR corps. He'll be putting up Manning-esque numbers this year (again), and the D isn't great in Arizona so he'll be in a ton of shoot-outs.

And I had KC in the SB too. 🙁 ...ah well. Go Steelers! 🙂

Washington looked pretty weak while Minnesota looked pretty good.

It will be interesting.

There is almost no QB that would have been justified starting over Warner this week.

Washington game was ugly.

Yay Chargers. 13-0 at the Half. tongue_ss

Aside from McNabb.

afterwords yea.. before the games started i think warner would be an easy choice just cause of the riskyness of his recovery.. but thats why i said almost

Refs suck. Shaun Taylor didnt give a late hit
That penalty just now on moss for taunting is ****in retarded.. and why is there even a taunting penalty? these arnt 9 year olds whos feelings we need to protect let them talk shit.

It wasnt about the late hit.

The penalty was helmet to helmet contact on the reciever, which happened. It's in the rules books.

❌ McNabb had an INT (Warner didn't)....in leagues that penalize for picks, Warner probably posted the highest point total.

It was close though, and they both had sick games.

And yes, until he gets hurt, Warner's going to be fantasy gold even though he won't be playing the 49ers every week.

see i thought that was what it was too but all my skins fans friends said it was for a late hit. I think for helmet to helmet it was also not deserved. Taylor's helmet clearly hit his shoulder and the impact jared taylors head up and caused it to bump into the WR's helmet also, that is not what the rule is there for.

The trade for Branch wasnt good because Branch isnt a premier WR and to give up a 1st round draft pick for him is ridiculous. Especially since SEA is gonna stink this year.

I clearly said that i was dumb not to start Warner over Green....no need to rub it in.
Doesnt matter how bad Chiefs stunk in week 1. They were my pick to go before the season and they still are, and you said that the Jags beat up on the Seahawks in week 1 last year and they still made it. So even if both my Superbowl picks lost in week 1 i'm not changing my mind.

To be honest the pics were legit but i pulled the records outta my ass. i chose 8 teams because 2 of them arent going to make it because of strength of schedule. I KNOW how many teams make the playoffs.

Cowboys are good with Bledsoe, I think they will be better with Romo. Hes more mobile and the Boys O-line isnt all that good.

I heard on MFL Matchup that they were bringing in Vince Young on third downs. I didnt actually see the game, so i have no idea what they did, but if it's what I heard then it's extremely dumb.

Peyton was actually scrambling a lot in the Giants game. From what i have seen in the Colts last two games, they dont have any kind of pass blocking. They don't pick up the blitz very well is what i mean. If the Colts line are going to play like that against good pass rush and blitz teams then they're in some trouble.

how is seattle going to stink? they lost their RG, their D is much improved and was already one of the best in the league last year and they have a top notch WR core with 3 guys who could start on many teams, and a very reliable 4th guy. Other than Stevens being hurt they are rock solid.

oh and again on the branch thing... think about who is available at that spot at the draft.. hmm lets look at last year would chad jackson or holmes be better for seattle next year than Branch will be right now and for the next 3-4 ( i dont remember the exact contract length) But the point is Branch is worlds above those guys.
