whats with all the farve bashing....people are saying how he needs to realize that green bay is a running team....he;s the one who made them a running team....he actually went to sherman last year before the season started and told him green bay needs to be a running team and thats when they became a running team and he still lead the league in TD passes.....he knows he's not the same player he was 5 years ago but he still went toe to toe with manning while being past his prime and before people respond with "but the colts have no defense" thats true but you still dont see any other quaterbacks doing what farve did to them...your not gonna see too many quaterbacks get a concussion than on the very next play throw a 20 yard TD pass which is exactly what he did last week....culpepper wouldnt be nearly as good as he is without moss....look what TO has done with philly...farve never had any of the top recievers in the league he's always had good recievers but noone like moss, owens, or rice

are you saying that chumura,sharpe,freeman,brooks, and driver are in the same league as rice, harrison, TO, and moss?.......if anything you just proved my point.....green bay doenst have to go out and get a big time reciever because of farve but if they ever did green bay would be damn near unstoppable.....its true marino never had a prime time reviever and and he doesnt have a superbowl ring to show for it....elway didnt win any superbowls until denver relied on terrell davis more than him.....when green bay won the superbowl they relied on farve....not brooks, freeman, levens, churma, and sharpe

You just proved my point, you didn't even have an answer for Marino, you can't even name one of the receivers they had, and Elway didn't have Davis for his whole career, he was a great quarterbac way before that. And if you would've read my post actually, I said very good receiver, not great, there's a big difference.

that may be but alot of fans and players measure on how good a player is by how many championships they have won...ask marino if he would rather have all those records or a superbowl ring and i gurantee you he'd say a superbowl ring....records are always going to be broken but you cant take away a championship
