Who in the hell cares that he barely made it? It went in didn't it?

I'm sure the Colts would have loved for him to barely make it.

Don't make me quote the Vin Diesel line from Fast and the Furious

it does matter. If your kicker is only making 72% of his kicks to begin with, its not encouraging to see the ones he does make barely scraping by. Just another sign that he is off his game. Yea as long as they go in its okay for that moment. And if he was kicking in the 90% range barely making a lot of them thats okay. But when your missing regularly, and you struggle on some of the easy ones something isnt right.

Vanderjagt's demise is the one thing I can truly take solace in this season, because I know where and when it hit that last piece of cliff before it went over the edge.

Well, he barly makes it, and he barly misses them also. Every single miss has hit the bar.

So it goes both ways.

He is a dick, and he wasnt kicking like he has, but to replace him with a guy who has only kicked once in the past 3 years is ridiculous.
The thing is your talking like he hasnt kicked well in many seasons and is washed up. Thats wrong, its only this season he hasnt done well.
I dont mind them cutting him, but atleast give the fans an replacement that can do a better job.

so for you steeler fans should ben just be shutdown for the rest of the year? With no playoff hopes why keep putting him out there. He has had some injury problems and he just keeps taking punishment that isnt needed, and its not like hes playing well either.

Probably.

I also think that Batch would of been a better choice than Big Ben right now. He aint doing shit.

batch has certainly out played him in the limited opportunities he has been given this year.

Most definitly.

Tell you the truth. I think with Batch in, the Steelers would of had a much better chance of making the playoffs, because throwing 19 INT's in 10 games aint really good. It's boderline Bledsoe.

To tell you the truth, I'd like to see them put St. Pierre out there against the Bucs and at least see what he can do in a non-preseason game. I've seen him in about 12 preseason games...usually in yawn mode in the 4th quarter. Hell, why the hell not?

Even if they put freakin' Borat in as QB, it won't matter if no one is going to block the rush end. Verron Haynes would have picked up the rush end at least a few times instead of trying to block an already congested middle of the line of scrimmage like Parker was doing. O-Line gets an F- this past week, and that's not their first F this year.

For the Ratbirds' sake, they had better hope they get home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. Oh wait a minute...guess they probably blew any chance of that last night. Talk about night and day.

As far as last night's coverage, I cringed when I saw Collinsworth in the booth. That dude is about as big a Homer as you'll ever find on TV. And Bryant Gumbel, talk about a blast from the past! I grew up in the mid-80's with that guy doing the halftime shows and such. He was a little rusty, but I still like the guy. I don't watch his morning show due to obvious reasons like having a job. He has aged very well.

You have a job?

I always though you just broke into people's house to use thier computers all in the name of the NFL Thread of an movie based website forums.....somehow that doesnt make sense.

Its okay, Im just happy that the Cowboys might have a chance of going to the playoffs and maybe going to the superbowl, because I think they can beat Chicago.

😆

ravens were definitely exposed a little. Bengals totally dominated that game. And it really should have been a shutout Mason got away with pretty blatant pass interference at the end there. Bengals playing D? Palmer back to his true form? The O-Line protecting well? This is all bad news for everyone else in the nfl.

Yeah, but they aren't going to make the playoffs.

whos is taking the wild cards in the afc you think? if either KC or Denver loses this week Cinci moves into a wild card spot. And Cinci should win at least 2 more games, with a huge game going to be @ denver which may decide who makes the playoffs. If Cinci doesnt get a wild card spot that means SD, KC, and Denver will likely make it which would be interesting.

Also Bengals did that last night without Delta.

HUGE HUGE rumor news. On espn they just said there is rumor that Atl is going to trade VICK to Oak for a package of draft picks.

The above trade is BS and will never happen.

and KC and Denver will get the last wild card spots, but that is if KC doesn't win the division, which I still think they can.

But if they do then it's SD, DEN wilcard, KC Division

or it's Den division and KC and SD wildcard.

You never know.

They might trade Vick. Especially if they fire Mora.

no need to trade vick and fire mora, if you move vick give mora a shot with schuab.

I dont know.

Every year gets worst for the Falcons.

Maybe keep Mora for another year, but I dont know. He hasnt really done much aside from making the playoffs his first year...but every year afterwords, the team gets worst.

they had some injury issues although a lot of teams do thats not a great excuse. Falcons might have the worst WR core in the nfl. THeir defense has some great players on it but they are a little under sized and dont create enough turn overs (like last years bengals) to make up for it. I think if anything they need a new person running the defense, give Mora Schuab and a decent WR and if their D plays up to their potential to go with that and I think they would go places. Also trading TJ was a horrible choice. They need a power back still.
