Great game. Wish more NFL games were like that. Specially glad the Patriots didn't get in, as I would've thrown up with weeks of Brady and Belicheck sucking and Pats fans whining about how their team is under appreciated.
I'm going with the Colts in the super bowl. Should be a good one, as both teams are pretty evenly matched.
I think everybody is saying the same thing about the Pats. Even if people dont like Manning, they would rather see him in the playoffs than Brady.
Man, watching NFL Network, and man, they have some crappy crappy anaylst type show. It was brutal.
I'm going with the Colts against the Bears. I dont know, but even though the Saints did have a better offense statisically than the Colts (theyre rated 11th overall in yardage), the Colts still have better skilled players than the Saints and well, Manning is better than Bree's.
But really, who saw the Colts going to the Superbowl before the playoffs?

Anyways, the reason why the Saints lost was because they ran the ****in ball 10 times and threw it 50 times in the snow and put up 14 points on the board.
While the Bears ran it 46 times and put 39 points on the board.

Two quick things:
1) You have to admit that most any given Sunday, playoffs or not, the road team could win the game almost as easily at the home team. Yesterday's home sweep, where both home teams won their Conference Championship games, was the first time that's happened SINCE 1996. Wow. However, you play all those regular season games with hopes that you get a situation like Chicago had yesterday. Now that's home-field advantage.
2) Forget the fact that Caldwell dropped the pass (I'm talking about the second drop where he wasn't covered on about the 18 yard line or so). What I question is the QB execution here. When Brady sees that Caldwell isn't covered, there has got to be an audible that can change a few things. One, he should have not allowed the defense to shift over to that side. Hell, just audible any sort of pass to the left side, because if Caldwell would have caught the sideline pass he would have only gotten about 6 yards on the play. Two, couldn't he have signaled for Caldwell to run so Brady could have hit him on a fly pattern (sort of like street ball where you wave and say, 'go long'😉? As you can tell, the logistics of that execution from the QB position was driving me crazy for a while.
But it doesn't matter, 'cause he dropped it. Can only offer advice on strategy, not execution.
Congrats to both The Bears and the Colts. Both deserve to be in the Superbowl.
I was kind of down after yesterday's game with the Pats and the Colts. But heck, that's how it goes. My only thoughts for the superbowl are these....
The Bears have the momentum going. The city of Chicago have waited for more than 20 years to finally see their team back in the Superbowl. To them best of luck. Just as long as these new Bears don't come out with some rap song...all is good.
The Colts put up a heck of a fight. Despite two very poor quarters. They rally to a come back and win. Now as for Manning...congrats your first time to the Superbowl. This is his chance to win a ring. I don't want to hear anymore excuses about him not having a chance to win the championship. This is shot at getting one. If he wins...well done. If he doesn't win...oh well, no more excuses. The pressure is on him.
Sit back and relax we're going to Miami.

Um.... the Colts definitely have more momentum going than the Bears do. This is the Colts first time beating the Patriots in the post season, and it's Peyton's first trip to the superbowl and a shot at a ring. Not to mention the fact that the Colts franchise hasn't been to the superbowl since 1970 (while in Baltimore).

good points.Yeah I got to take the colts as well.I of course would like to see the bears take it all but the colts have been proving me wrong ever since the Baltimore game.It would be best for me to pick the colts anyways because they keep winning after I keep predicting them to lose. 😄 so its in my own best interests to pick the colts. LOL.,since I'm doing that this time,maybe they'll lose.. 😄 I also think homefield advantage played a big part in the bears winning both games and they will be on a neutral field this time.However if Rex Grossman comes out and makes some big plays for them and scores a lot of points like he did against the saints,it could be tough on the colts against that bear defense.The Ravens defense which is comparable to the bears could not bail them out because their offense was so pathetic so its going to be all the more important for Grossman to have a good game.
