Jehovah's Witnesses are so nice, they come to my door all the time and give me material to read. I love em, an I always read what they give me.

I would recommend you guys not close the door in their faces.

The MVP will be Manning and I know that is the easy decision but it is what it is.

I live in apartment, so no chance of them ever coming.

Well not a huge surprise there, colts win. If it wasnt for the colts starting sloppy it woulda been a total blowout.

The Colts dominted the Bears. Shouldnt even been close.

Finally, you dont have to hear about Manning not winning the Superbowl.

Plus it's nice to see Dungy finally get a ring after all his been through.

Yeah it is.

And they're was no conterversy at all. The Bears got raped.

They were in it until the for the 1st half, but they just fell apart in the 2nd half. Colts just dominated them. I felt little bad for the Bears though which was suprised even me. Hopefully Urlacher and company can get a ring before it's all said and done.

Losing by 12 points in not rape 😐

Or must I remind you of the very first play of the game 😎

Congrats to the Colts. Game was pretty much going to be the Colts game to lose when the Bears couldn't run the ball.

Take away 2 plays by the Bears, the score would of been 29-3. The Bears got raped.
They couldnt stop the run at all. Urlacher is suppose to be able to cover anybody, but somehow the Colts were getting first down after first down from Addai, Clark and Rhodes.

The Colts had 165 more yards than the Bears. Colts had 13 more first downs, 17:00 minutes more of possesion and I'm pretty sure the Bears had only four possesions in the 2nd and 3rd quarter equalling a total of 30 yards. The game's score isnt the true story of the game.

The Bears didnt do anything at all. They sucked on defense, couldnt tackle at all, never got any pressure at all and couldnt stop 3rd down coversions. The offense on the other hand was bad. Outside of the last two drives in the 4th, the Bears had only 1 good drive.
The only thing that the Bears did well was special teams.

I wouldn't say the Bears defense sucked. It certainly wasn't great, but it didn't suck. Even though they couldn't get off the field because of playing Cover 2 and having the safeties back which made Payton dump of to his RBs all game, they never really let the Colts put the game away. They also pretty much succeeded in stopping the Colts big plays with the exception of Wayne's touchdown which had more to do with miscommunication than anything.

What killed them more than anything was the Bears offense doing their best impersonation of the Raiders: Turnovers and three and outs galore.

I think we could all agree that the Bears defense did play below there standards. They couldn't make stop during 3rd downs. They allowed short passing yards to be turned into long ones, and they didn't stop the run. And even with all that they still played well enough to keep the Bears in the game.

It sucked. It was a let down. They couldnt do anything. They succeded in stopping big plays, but they didnt succed to stop anything. Having a plan to stop big plays is great, but you have to atleast make tackles to let that happen. They didnt. They couldnt stop any 3rd downs, they got one sack and maybe 3 QB pressures. They didnt allow alot of points, it could of been worst, but in the light of thigns, they still played like shit. Manning dominated that defense.

I would actually say that the weather stopped the Colts defense more than the Bears.

Even with the score pretty close all game, I never got the feeling on where the Colts were actually in trouble. The first 2 possesions from the Bears showed some promise but afterthat I didnt get on instance on where the Bears were in control. Overall, every faucet of the Bears played below average. I might of been a tad bit harsh but for a defense thats was suppose to be great. It sucked. The Colts ran right over them.

Don't you think that has as much, if not more, to do with the offense than the defense. I mean, you could put the 85 Bears or the 01 Ravens out there and they would tire out sooner or later with how the Bears offense was playing. They played like how the Raiders defense played all year: giving up some points but generally keeping the team in the game even though the offense couldn't do one positive thing.

And let's remember they were down five, with the ball with twelve minutes left in the game when their offense had done pretty much nothing. Only down five facing arguably the best offense in the NFL and your offense doing nothing? I don't call that sucking.

I had the same feeling but it was because the Bears couldn't run the ball consistently and it was going to be in Grossman's hands. Add those two things and I knew the fat lady had sung early.

Truthfully, I never thought the Bears defense was great. I thought it was a very good defense but not a great one. If the Bears were going to win, it was going to be a balanced effort, not a one sided one. And remember, the Colts were able to score against the Ravens and score at will against the Patriots in the 2nd half. Both of those teams defenses I consider better than the Bears. I just don't see the Bears defense playing all that badly.

In the second half, yes.

The Bears got careless.

Indy ran right over them in first half also.

Strangelove, I understand, but if your defense was suppose to be on the best (generally considered that by many, not me though), you should be able to atleast keep Manning off the field a bit. I'm not asking for all the time, I'm asking for a bit. They didnt. They didnt do it in the first half, and they definitly didnt do in the second half. The Colts had possesion for 38 minutes. That's a huge amount of time to have the ball.

This is the same defense that soo many people said was going to dominate the Colts. The same defense that held the high powered Saints down. They didnt. The got run over by the Colts. I would call that sucking. For the superbowl, a team that relies on the defense should be able to keep the other team off the field a tad bit but they didnt and even though Grossman was brutal, all those 193 yards rushing yards was the defense's fault.

Wasn't the score 17-19 in the 4th quarter!?!?!?!

There's always an excuse. Sad.

Congrats to the Colts on their victory. Finally their second championship since the franchise begin back in the day. A job well done. 👆

The only down part is that for the rest of year we're gonna have Manning telling us how much we can save by switching to Geico. Or how much better a flat screen plasma TV looks in a living room. 🙁
