Don't think Detroit gonna draft Calvin Johnson. More likely Adrian Peterson or Brady Quinn.
I dont think they will go with Peterson. They already have Jones, who was a stud.
The reason he aint now is because that line is horrible.
If Johnson doesnt get picked up by the Raiders, he will go to Bucs at the 4th pick. The Browns need a guy like Peterson, or an QB. They have Edwards and Winslow as recievers. Dont think they will pick up Johnson.

I don't know about everybody else, but I only watch teams that show in actually interest in there fans, and players, not just any games on TV. The Lions GM should have been fired years ago, and if he had any dignity he would resign and realise that he has done absolutly nothing for the franchise but embarass them, and if the owner actually cared about the team he would have fired him. But I guess watching football, and remember names is more important than knowing the actual teams.Learn more about Teams next year, not just player's name.
Oh, I think you're on to something, because I don't see how actually watching the games would gather any information about the team itself. Saw about 10 Lions games last year, and my favorite team is the Steelers. How many Lions games did you see, or does the NFL in your world consist of what you read about on Monday's ESPN blogger? Tell me something, what would you attribute most to their losses? Name three specific, game-situation reasons that do not include any stats and Millen.
Okay, I'll give you one right off the bat. They held the lead or were competitive going into the fourth quarter on numerous occasions (Vikings, Patriots, to name a couple), but they panicked too quickly. Several times, with around 3 or 4 minutes left in the game and a couple of timeouts left on the first series, Kitna would try to make a desperation throw down the middle of the field and into double or triple coverage, often resulting in an interception that put the opponent in Lions' territory where they could ice the game. What should have happened is they play for the last drive. That hardly occurred, yet most teams would have opted for that. They lacked patience and confidence in the fourth quarter, that was one of their problems this past year.
We could go on and on. Let me know when we're done with this. Hard to believe this argument started off the misspelling of Mike Furrey's name and a half-hearted jest taken a bit too seriously.

Oh my god you saw 10 Lions games last year, you are the greatest footbal fan ever!! I stopped watching the Lions. Last time I watched the Lions Gary Moeller was the coach, and they were one game away from the playoffs. That was there last winning season(9-7), ever since then they brought in there new executives, fired Moeller, and the team has been shit. I'm not dumb enough to support or watch a team that has executives/owners that can't do there jobs in pleasing there fans or winning, in fact, they are doing the exact opposite, and it's not like there making strides for improvement, but you go ahead and support them anyway superfan.

I'm not playing you retarded little game, and if I was, it sure as hell isn't going to be about the team I despise the most....... Yea, one of there problems has been patience and confidence, no shit, how about all there other problems with a weak secondary(with the exception of Bly who won't be a Lion next year), constant inconsistency from there Quarterbacks, and horrible draft choices. You don't have to watch 10 Lion games a year to know there weaknesses.

Good, lets go on and on and on and on. Yea, now it's it a half hearted jest, I just can't shake the feeling that you are just completely full of shit.
😂
They also couldn't stop West Coast offenses. They also used McNown instead of Mike Williams at wideout. They also had more guys down on the turf than Ellen Degeneres. They also fumbled early in games. I could do this for 31 other teams, but this square-off is getting pretty boring. I might run off to the POTC forum to face a little better arguments.
Yea, go ahead and name 31 other teams that has had the record Detroit has in the past 6 years while showing so many strides for improvement, name 31 other teams that uses a 2nd or 3rd string quarterback with no professional experience as a wide-out as a 2nd or 3rd receiver, or name 31 other teams that ****ed up the draft as much as Detroit in the past 5 or 6 years(keywords as much). Run off a cliff for all i care, just stop acting superior because your dumb enough to watch 10 Lion games and memorize there roster, so you could correct something so minuscule as Mike "The Flurry" Furry.
I meant analyze 31 other teams (there are 32 total teams in the NFL, FYI), not find a way to group the other 31 teams into the same category!!!! doh You hate the Lions? Well, I hate Cleveland, but I still try to watch as many of their games as I can, as I have no business talking about them if I know nothing about them except what I read in the newspaper.
Okay, okay, I'm not going to do this all off season. I will concede this debate, as you have proven that ignoring 90% of the league and jerking off on Sunday afternoons instead of watching games will increase your NFL knowledge. You are the champion. Congrats.
In the meantime, I'm going to go post in the NBA thread. I haven't seen any games, so I should fit right in with my talk about LeJohn James, Steve Hash, Dirk GoLicksme, and Allen Choderson.

I love that player, Allen Choderson. ****, I wish the Raptors had him.

Yes, but it could have an impact on their playing, and Lendale really didn't play last year, he didn't make an impact in anything.
you act like there arnt rivals from college playing together in the nfl. Or teamates from college who are now rivals it doesnt matter at all. Hell 2 star high school basketball players went to duke and unc you think when they play each other they take it easy?
Titans do need a WR though either Ginn Jr., Jarrett, Meachem, or Rice whoever is there when they draft they should be good.

Yet, when someone talks about the Browns, or mispronounces a name, I bet you'll willing to correct them with a smart ass comment that makes you look like a God of superfans, even though you have no business talking about them. Your even more full of shit than I thought you were.

Oh, so the Lions make up 90% of the league now? Man, if only I had the football knowledge of a deuchebag who increase there football knowledge by watching pointless teams in for the most part, pointless games.
In the meantime, I'm going to go post in the NBA thread. I haven't seen any games, so I should fit right in with my talk about LeJohn James, Steve Hash, Dirk GoLicksme, and Allen Choderson. [/B]
Go ahead and post in the NBA thread, you'll just make yourself look even dumber with more comments like, "You don't watch or pay attention to one team so you must ingore 90% of the league" And your equivalent knowledge to the misspelling of All Star players, and future hall of famers to the misspelling of 2nd rate players on 2nd rate teams.
I told you, you won. As your prize I'm getting you DirecTV Sunday Ticket (just in case you didn't know this isn't the 1970's and that you can watch ALL 16 games every week, not just the Lions games - imagine that!!!!), and then I'm getting you a stool so maybe you could catch (or block) a few points now and then. So congrats.
To quote my good pal Sol, there sure are a lot of these:
