Umm....hasnt the Colts proved enough this season?
In what mind do you think the Colts can be beaten when the division is on the line. Is it because the won 1 game against the Colts? Or, just because the Titans had an 8-8 season, which isnt that amazing. They could become better, or they could be back where they were once at 4-12. Why?, because so many teams get an favourable schedule, or underdogs, or just plain overachieving and when next season hits, it could be completely different ball game.
All I'm saying is that the Titans are not one piece of the puzzle away from winning the Superbowl. They're not even close. They might make the playoffs, but I think they'll have one more year to go before that happens. Remember, this is the AFC and you have to beat the Colts to make the playoffs, and not just win 2 games against them, I'm talking about record.
The Titans won against the Colts, when the Colts defense was playing like shit with bad run defense. That's because none of thier players were on the defense. As proven throughout the playoffs, an health Bob Sanders makes all the difference, and they're is no way the Titans would even come close in beating the Colts if the defense played like it did.
The coaching carousel continues. I have to admit, I think some teams were caught in awkward positions (Miami, San Diego), for the timing of their hires couldn't have been any worse. The combines are fast-approaching, free agency is weeks away, and the draft is two months of work, not to mention the coach needs to get to know 53 players as well as FA walk-ons. It would be interesting to see if Singletary gets the Bolts job, but I hate for the winning candidate that there is so little time to get off on the right foot.

It's alright to use this past season as evidence in saying that the Titans will make the playoffs, but its not alright to use this past season as reason for the Colts to have a chance to repeat. Do I think they will....no, but if the Titans want to make the playoffs, they will need to start beating the Colts.
